Travel + Leisure Co. is currently seeking a Treasury Manager, in Orlando, Florida. This is a broad and dynamic position that supports Homeowners Association (HOA) and Club Treasury and Corporate Treasury functions. It is primarily responsible leading a team of analysts in providing financial and analytical support to Clubs and Homeowner Associations to effectively maximize investment returns while strictly adhering to Investment Policy Statement guidelines. Analysis includes ensuring adequate liquidity for our internal HOA customers in accordance with budgets, reserve studies, board direction, and senior management directives. The position leads and participates with a team that works directly with third party brokerage firms to execute investment strategies. The Treasury Manager is expected to mentor, train and aid in the development of Analysts and Sr. Analysts within Treasury team.
In addition to the HOA Investments team, the Treasury Manager will be expected to assist the Director Treasury, Capital Markets with routine monthly corporate capital markets reporting and FX operations, financial risk management and provide support to the corporate banking process. This position will also manage and lend support to the Corporate Treasury team in the daily corporate cash positioning process by requesting borrowings, redemptions and/or the investment of funds daily as needed and reviewing, approving and releasing corporate payments. Finally, the Treasury Manager will handle Treasury system administration and as needed lead Treasury related projects that provide business segment support. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.
How You'll Shine:
Manage HOA and Club Investments team of 3 Treasury associates responsible for HOA and Club reserve fund investments, and ensure compliance with HOA, Club and Corporate investment policies.
Implements Treasury Process improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Creates and maintains Treasury & Investment Procedures for HOA team in coordination with Treasury Information Systems Analyst
Provide monthly reporting of liquidity/investment balances, exception activity, calls/orders placed with brokerage partner
Conducting quarterly investment review calls with key relationship brokerage houses and Assistant Treasurer
Actively providing Treasury Director key intelligence related to observed trends, potential issues, and potential opportunities in a timely manner
Actively working to take advantage of technology in an effort improve efficiency and effectiveness of workflow processes
Coordinates with Treasury Information Systems Analyst to ensure Kyriba TMS, online banking platforms and other Treasury or Company technologies are leveraged optimally
Assist with the Company’s FX Risk Management Hedge Programs
Deliver monthly/quarterly reporting to internal stake holders to include but not limited to corporate debt positions, market rates, IC loan balances and derivative valuations
Review and validate Capital Market related invoices and statements
Assist in preparing and maintaining forecasts regarding Capital Markets expenses and liquidity
Corporate Treasury wire reviewer and approver. Ensure wire requestors adhere to disbursement policies and payments processed accurately and timely
Conduct primary bank platform user and user entitlement administration.
Assist in the daily corporate cash position process by providing borrowing and repayment notices to the banks and investing excess cash as needed and reviewing Admin Agent revolver confirmations for accuracy and completeness, review financial transaction input into Kyriba TMS.
Providing back-up to other Treasury functions and/or perform ad-hoc Treasury business unit support projects as directed by Director, Treasury
Assist in the bank relationship management process by providing analysis and reporting of bank fees and preparing the monthly bank fee allocation schedule.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance/Accounting) required. MBA or advanced business degree preferred. CTP certification preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in developing team members
Self-starter, ability to prioritize and act quickly, experienced, proven project manager
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with a passion for organization and streamlining processes. Change agent, willing to challenge the status quo
Proven knowledge of Treasury controls, control environments and Treasury policy enforcement
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Demonstrated experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) (Kyriba preferred). Bloomberg experience preferred.
Experience with technical bank documentation, banking service implementation, managing online bank portals and all forms of electronic payment methods
Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint), Intermediate to advance level of Microsoft Excel.
6-9 years Treasury experience, in a Corporate Treasury department setting
3-4 years leadership experience required
