Manager, Project II wanted by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Develop communication plans to provide continuous communication to the project team members, customers, and project sponsors regarding project status; Identify resources needed to complete work and collaborating with resource managers to assemble appropriate skills/teams and resources. This includes managing issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools established within the Project Management Office; Determine project schedules, identify the critical path, and highlight potential risks. Effectively apply the delivery methodology, schedule standards, and enforce them with the project teams. Lead project teams to maintain project work plans and draft required deliverables; Facilitate and participate in project reviews and retrospectives, provide information for audits, status reports, and executive review meetings; Forecast, manage, and report on project financials, planned and actual project schedule, and resource utilization. This includes creating basic revenue models, and cost of completion projections, and making decisions accordingly; Manage the development of funding documentation to meet finance and PMO requirements. Work with Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Team to prepare RFPs, MSAs and SOWs; and Participate in process improvement initiatives and PMO onboarding activities.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; 5 years of experience in an IT project management role utilizing Clarity, Microsoft Project or other Portfolio/Program/Project Management Software; 5 years of experience with Jira or similar Agile project management tools; 5 years of experience with team development or experience in a leadership role which includes proven experience as a project manager, overseeing the launch and implementation of technology projects, including planning, executing, monitoring and controlling resources and deliverables; 5 years of experience in an information technology capacity with understanding of various technologies including implementation of enterprise applications, software product development, databases, networking, telecommunications, connectivity, security and compliance; 5 years of experience with project management lifecycle and systems development lifecycle including Agile and Waterfall); 5 years of experience using MS Office Suite of products including Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint; and 3 years of experience managing project financials, utilizing basic budget, revenue models and cost to completion projections.
