POSITION PURPOSE
The Manager Accounts Payable is responsible for leading and supporting Wyndham’s business segments processing of Accounts Payables. This role is responsible for supervising a functional team of Accounts Payable Administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing/handling of payables for a specified Wyndham business segment. As a Manager Accounts Payable, he/she will also be responsible for investigating and correcting escalated issues while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. This role reports to Finance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
- Invoice processing, expense reimbursement and supplier reconciliation production management, including capacity and demand planning based on invoice inbox volume analysis.
- Supervises direct reports in the processing tasks assigned and ensure they are delivered in an efficient manner and completed in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Plans and prepares specific tasks, contingency plans and works schedules of employees ensuring coverage in key tasks of the team.
- Resolves escalated business-related concerns or queries and manages these to completion within turn-around time.
- Build and maintain positive relationship with internal stakeholders and Operating Units.
- Review and generates Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports and track team performance in accordance with the SLAs.
- Ensures compliance with SOX requirements.
- Oversee month-end activities and ensures accurate and timely submission of reports.
- Evaluates and discusses job performance with staff and trains or arranges training to be provided.
- Addresses performance or behavioral issues of staff and recommends appropriate corrective action.
- Assists in the review, development and implementation of process improvements or amendments within key areas.
- Partnering with Accounts Payable Manager to support strategic initiatives.
- Participates in and perform special tasks and projects that may be assigned.
- Innovation & Project Coordination:
- Participates in process migration, creation of Standard Operating Procedure/Process Workflow and Users Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Display innovation through inspiring, creating and improving processes and products.
- Research, track and report back on all campaigns to determine successes and areas for improvement. Work towards a level of constant improvement and growth in all areas of the accounts payable department.
- Assist in documentations of policies and procedures

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of (5) years’ Accounts Payable experience
- 3 years in shared services model or BPO setup
- 3 years leadership/supervisory experience
- Experience managing data in large ERP systems, PeopleSoft or Oracle preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency managing data in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, WebConnect)
