How You'll Shine:
As a National Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth within the baseball and softball verticals while also helping to expand our reach across other youth and amateur sports.
Over the past year, Playbook365 has introduced full-featured club and facility management tools, allowing organizations to manage every aspect of their operations from a single platform. In addition to our flagship event management solution, Playbook365 now includes a comprehensive suite of products:
Playbook: Tournament, showcase, camp, club, and facility management software
Staybook: A white-labeled travel booking engine that connects events with hotel and lodging partners
SportID: A unified SSO platform designed to streamline registration and identity verification across Playbook partners
TourneyBoard: A tournament and event aggregation site that drives visibility and participation across the Playbook network
This role is ideal for a driven, relationship-oriented sales professional who understands the diamond sports landscape and thrives on helping organizations leverage technology to operate more efficiently, grow participation, and deliver better experiences. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from outreach and demo to close—by providing consultative, solutions-based selling that supports Playbook365’s growth across events, clubs, and facilities.
Sales Growth (95%)
Revenue Growth: Lead efforts to grow revenue by prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new event, club, and facility clients, with a particular focus on baseball and softball organizations.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals through disciplined outreach and strategic business development.
Prospect Development: Build and maintain a robust prospect list using data-driven research, market insights, and personal networks.
Client Relationship Management: Manage prospective client relationships throughout the sales cycle, delivering a consultative experience tailored to each partner’s needs.
Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling one-on-one and group presentations, showcasing the features and benefits of the Playbook365 platform.
CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track activity, pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.
Sales Collaboration (5%)
Marketing Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership to develop targeted outreach strategies, event participation plans, and campaigns to reach key decision-makers in the sports event space.
Market Awareness: Stay informed on emerging trends and opportunities within youth baseball, softball, and related sports industries to position Playbook365 as the trusted technology partner for event operators, clubs, and facilities.
Travel Requirements
Travel requirements vary based on business needs; average expectation is up to 5–10% annually for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Technical Skills
Job Experience
5+ years of successful sales experience with proven stability and results.
Experience in the youth sports, club, or facility management technology industry preferred.
SaaS or digital product sales background strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter with motivation to exceed goals in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience delivering virtual and in-person presentations.
Experience selling into the sports or event management vertical a plus.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
