The Vice President, Product & Program Development is responsible for overseeing the ideation, go to market strategy, and governance of Wyndham Destinations vacation ownership products and programs covering Club Wyndham®, WorldMark® by Wyndham, and Margaritaville Vacation Club® by Wyndham consumer brands.  The position is directly responsible for developing and implementing strategic benefits and offerings that supports the growth of the membership base but more importantly enhancing the overall ownership experience.  They will also be accountable for a team managing multiple new products, programs and marketing that supports them.

How You'll Shine:

  • Develop and implement new innovation efforts in the areas of marketing, engagement, product development and sales strategies and tactics for each of the clubs including each of its loyalty programs. Leverage customer insights and trends in the product development process.
  • Develop and communicate actionable data and tracking for field partners and senior corporate leadership.
  • Understand, manage and evaluate expenses and budgets, efficiencies and metrics to continuously improve the penetration and profitability of driving sales growth for each of the product and program.
  • Manage a team and support a positive work environment and culture by achieving the highest level of ethics and integrity consistent with applicable regulatory standards and T+L’s values and policies.
  • Monitor the financial health of various programs to maximize profitability and minimize expenses to ensure all targets are met. This includes but not limited to developing and implementing new sales tools and programs to support increased member growth for sales centers selling the vacation club products.
  • Manage the product and program launch process to ensure that all parts of the company are ready for product or program releases or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with team to get feedback from the field on new feature requirements and enhancements - in efforts to drive product utilization.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel between/among sales centers and resorts across all consumer brands, as well as locations thru key strategic partnerships required.  Travel up to 25% of time. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or product management required
  • Master’s degree preferred 
  • Product Management or Project Management certification welcomed
  • Proven leadership ability, motivational skills and enthusiasm 
  • Proven experience with product innovation and marketing strategies 
  • Proven experience involving in-person high value sales 
  • Demonstrated history of strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to handle stress and high pressure tasks and maintain composure 
  • Strong strategic and planning skills with the ability to operationalize change and improvement.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and utilize effective interpersonal ability to influence without authority.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decision in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Strong management skills including planning, organizing for results, leading and evaluating people, and controlling projects for both effectiveness and efficiency while managing competing priorities
  • Capable to drive results, exhibit multidisciplinary business acumen, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decision in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level interactions.
  • Ability to drive large-scale projects consisting of cross-functional teams, with strong collaboration and leadership
  • Must be proficient on a computer with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office  
  • Must be proficient with sales and marketing channels to partner with the internal and external digital teams developing or supporting company initiatives. 
  • 7+ years in sales/marketing or product development senior leadership roles 
  • 4+ years experience in progressive leadership roles
  • Strongly preferred experience working on new product development, loyalty programs and/or large sales programs 

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
