PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

  • Assistance with ensuring daily workloads and timelines are achieved with accuracy and within service level agreements
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts and reports
  • Bank account investigations and reporting
  • Quality and audit reviews on all tasks performed by the Cash Management team
  • Comply with relevant legislation including and not limited to Privacy Act; NCCP & AML
  • Ensure efficient use of systems including but not limited to CSS; OnBase
  • Contribute to setting and reporting on individual/group statistic targets and KPI's
  • Proactively develop new ways to increase efficiency and streamline processes
  • Manual discount/adjustment review and audit
  • Supporting the Cash Management Team, Supervisor Consumer Lending & Cash Management and Manager Consumer Lending and Special Services
  • Communicate with and provide information to Auditors (internal and external)
  • Observe and identify any compliance concerns, patterns or any other issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction Investigate and resolve issues that arise from data maintenance
  • Ensuring that the team are compliant with document management
  • Effectively liaise with sales administration, accounting and other internal stakeholders

  • All other reasonable duties as requested or required
  • Ensure that all audit requirements are met
  • Processing rescissions and organizing refunds within company guidelines

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • An understanding of the regulatory credit risk framework under National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Privacy Act Australia and New Zealand (Privacy) and Debt Collections. Annual Training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • High level of communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to prioritize work
  • Strong knowledge in handling cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS
  • Strong knowledge of cash allocation, daily balancing and currency conversion.
  • Experience in general banking procedures and high competent numeric skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and delegate appropriately
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and to meet team targets/timelines            
  • Strong written word for concise and professional written correspondence with particular attention to detail (grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc), accuracy of information and the ability to thoroughly document all processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Access, Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Strong research and investigation skills
  • Ability to work as a team player, be supportive of co-workers and be willing to contribute to a positive working environment
  • Assistance on projects relating to Cash Management or Consumer Finance team.
  • Assisting Cash Management team with questions and escalations
