We are currently seeking an energetic, proven and results-driven Project Director for our dynamic Phillip Island Sales Team. This is a unique opportunity to show outstanding results and leadership. You will lead the team by initiating key sales strategies to ensure sustained development and growth of this site

About the role

The Project Director plans, controls and directs the daily activities of the sales team to obtain maximum sales efficiencies while maintaining high quality standards. The Project Director is responsible for ensuring the site meets/exceeds the monthly site budget in a positive and compliant manner.  This position is responsible for directing the operation and providing motivation, guidance and leadership to associates so they meet/exceed the objectives of the site. The Project Director is also responsible for providing guidance, direction and producing the expected operating results.

About you

You will have previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership sales background with experience in supporting and managing a successful high volume sales team. You will have successful proven track record in achieving sales targets and closing the deal. Sound leadership ability including motivating, coaching and performance management accompanied with effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers. 

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Ensure the sales management team provides a positive interface with all on-site and corporate departments and actively supports the Developer Representative’s recommendations
  • Share the role of presenter/trainer as required
  • Develop community relations between the Company and the neighbourhood through positive representation and proactive community awareness
  • Utilise sales, marketing and fiscal reports to assist in managing the site profitability
  • Actively supporting and modelling compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure currency of required permits, licenses certifications etc. to enable sales operations
  • Ensure all employees stay current with required government licenses, work permits, etc.
  • Build, develop and manage an engaged  team
  • Provide regular coaching, mentoring and feedback to the team to ensure continued development and identify training needs
  • Establish service quality standards based on internal customer requirements
  • Identify trends/root causes and take action to ensure desired results are achieved
  • Develop and sponsor initiatives that foster open communication
  • Consult with appropriate stakeholders to obtain agreement or remove barriers before implementing change
