The Manager, Development Finance is responsible for support financial underwriting, valuation, and execution of new development projects, major capital investments, and M&A transactions. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling expertise with commercial judgment and the ability to operate in both long-cycle development projects and fast-paced transaction environments.


How You'll Shine:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for new development projects and large capital investments. Develop pro-formas including timing of spend, operating assumptions and sensitivity analysis.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models in support of evaluation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures and strategic partnerships. Support financial due diligence and coordinate information requests. Assist in data room management and tracking.
  • Partner with cross functional team to refine assumptions and identify risks. Track development pipeline returns vs original underwriting assumptions.
  • Support investment committee materials and board presentations. Provide scenario analysis and decision support for long term growth strategy.
  • Performs other duties/ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required – 20% of the time

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, while focusing and executing tactically to ensure successful and timely outcomes.
  • Proven mastery of progressive financial modeling and valuation methodologies as well as sound general financial management practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish and maintain value added relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented and process focused with evidence of driving measurable results within established timelines.
  • Ability to understand the business drivers behind the financial statements and how they affect financial performance.
  • The ability to work as a business partner is critical
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Solid business acumen and judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver on deadlines
  • Must be able to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Expertise with Excel. Advanced financial modeling and valuation experience
  • Ability to create systematic, sustainable reporting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • 5-8 years’ experience, with particular expertise in development finance, corporate development, investment banking, private equity or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions
  • Hospitality, timeshare industry experience, preferred

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
