The IT Infrastructure Manager acts as the IT liaison between business units, vendors and IT teams to design, plan, build, and implement related to all site integrated technologies for Travel + Leisure Co. sites and facilities (fulfillment) projects.
This manager will develop a strategic vision for the IT Site Infrastructure Services (SIS) team and ensures the vision is aligned with business goals. This role would work closely with IT leadership, stakeholders, and business unit leaders to understand needs and develop a comprehensive infrastructure solution.


The candidate will develop and ensure site infrastructure engineers with direction and processes to create efficiencies in the configuration and deployment of site infrastructure technologies and integrations.
The position will perform engineering on a variety of technical disciplines for projects including but not limited to the design/layout structured cabling, technical spaces, drawings, and interaction with customers/developers and field audits.

How You'll Shine:

  • Managing intra-departmental functions
  • Executes all appropriate administrative and supervisory tasks related to the team including but not limited to development, assessment, mediation, hiring, training, performance, and merit review
  • Maintains a positive and optimistic working environment
  • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures required change or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion
  • Develops and implements performance-based statistics and metrics
  • Provides periodic reports to management and customers on the status of workflow and escalates deviations to management in a timely manner
  • Working with the business on estimating site/facility work efforts and project budget and actual financials.
  • Work with business units and other service organizations on the planning, designing, installing, and maintaining site/facility technology solutions
  • Acquires and maintains working knowledge of business processes and procedures
  • Partner with Line of Business and other service organizations on the planning, designing, installing, and maintaining site/facility technology solutions.
  • Develops and sustains strong working relationships with business partners.
  • Interfaces with other teams, vendors, and business as part of the delivery and support process
  • Drives technology innovation and process improvement
  • Handle multiple task/project assignments with the ability to prioritize the level of effort required for each assignment.
  • Manages timelines and progress of activities to ensure schedules and commitments are met
  • Manages business issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools
  • Meets or exceeds schedules, budgets, and quality targets
  • Works with the IT Site Infrastructure/Operations Director, project managers, and business sponsors identify risk and risk mitigation strategies related to site infrastructure integration for design and delivery.
  • Providing input on the long-range technology plans and financials for the site/facility locations
  • Works with technical team in the process of defining integration engineering standards and creates standards for all site infrastructure documentation requirements.

​Travel Requirements:

  • 10-20%. Travel would be required as needed to facilitate site due diligence assessments, address any escalated support issues which required hands on resolution, and lead larger project teams for site technology deployments. Travel could be to any of the current locations where Travel + Leisure Co. resorts, sales offices, or call centers, or corporate offices are located.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
  • Continuing education credits in Technology to keep credentials current.
  • Having a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and subjects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Organizational, analytical, and problem determination/resolution skills.
  • Ability to assess status and prioritize multiple concurrent projects at the task level.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team structure, driving to aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with executives, enterprise-wide and business unit management personnel, peers, and outside vendors.
  • Moderate level of infrastructure design and standards understanding
  • Moderate level network and telecommunications architectural understanding
  • Moderate level of database architectural and configuration understanding on multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite of products, MS Office, Visio, Project, and Access.
  • Capable of reviewing technical documents to the level of communicating and designing integrated technology infrastructure requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers, each managing 3-5 infrastructure projects.
  • 10+ years of work experience in a medium to large diverse in-depth, enterprise-wide technical environment integrating, implementing, and supporting technologies, specifically around network and telecommunication and client/server integration.
  • 7+ years’ management/supervisory/leadership responsibilities
  • 5+ years’ of managing medium to large IT technology projects
  • Working in construction and/or hospitality a benefit


Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
