PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
The In-House Resort Host occupies a location at the resort or outside the resort and is responsible for selling tourist attractions and excursions, as well as inviting customers who meet pre-determined qualification criteria to attend a Wyndham presentation in exchange for a gift.
The In-House Resort Host receives a set rate per qualified tour and bonuses based on the number of qualified tours generated.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell and promote tourist attractions and excursions.
- Invite pre-qualified customers to attend a Wyndham presentation.
- Handle customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge.
- Manage telephone enquiries.
- Complete client information forms in the computer system.
- Explain booking terms and conditions.
- Process payments and issue receipts/tickets.
- Perform daily ad hoc duties as required.
- Book qualified tours in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and approachable manner while achieving booth quotas.
- Work in accordance with Best Practice Guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Deliver the required number of qualified tours to the sales site.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Identify future business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Recommend innovative and cost-effective improvements to management.
- Handle customer rejections professionally and courteously.
- Turn negative responses into potential opportunities.
- Work within established processes while maintaining creativity.
- Represent the company ethically, morally, and professionally.
- Demonstrate loyalty, self-discipline, and integrity.
- Set goals to maximize production while minimizing costs.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
- Adhere to work schedules and maintain punctuality.
- Attend all required training sessions and team meetings.
- Support company sales and marketing programs and strategies.

- Obtain and maintain all required government licenses, registrations, and work permits.
- Comply with Wyndham Vacation Resorts (Indonesia) Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure workplace health and safety for self and others.
- Deliver HEART service to all internal and external stakeholders.
