Peppers Manly & The Sebel Sydney Manly Beach boast a fantastic beachfront location at Manly Beach in the Northern end of Sydney. Featuring contemporary guest rooms and apartments, unforgettable meeting and conference spaces and two stunning outdoor pools, our hotel embodies the relaxed sophistication for which this part of the world is known for.
We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time General Manager to join our team. We are looking for an experienced General Manager with exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and guide our team, drive growth, and ensure outstanding service for our leisure guests. The ideal candidate will ensure that our valued Members and Guests enjoy a truly unforgettable experience during their stay with us. This role will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all operational aspects of our property ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the resort, including front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, maintenance, and other relevant departments.
- Achieve exceptional marketing results by motivating and empowering the team.
- Revenue management with the central revenue team.
- Drive exceptional financial results through exemplary cost control and revenue management by developing and executing commercial plans in conjunction with the hotel leadership team
- Manage sales processes and teams to achieve superior results with the MICE, Wedding and Events market

Maintain and enhance operational standards to exceed guest expectations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity.

Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain effective communication channels, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment and workplace culture.
- Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance skills and maintain high service.
- Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, promptly engaging in service recovery.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.
- Ambassador of unique experiences for guest and staff.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
- Experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- An eagerness to grow personally and professionally.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and senior management.
- Sound knowledge of hotel operations, including revenue management, front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with property management systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and problem-solve effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
