How You’ll Shine
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, co-ordinating and completing the day to day operation of the Maintenance department.
You will be required to maintain a high standard with all areas of unit repairs, external property and resort common area maintenance in line with Body Corporate budgets and requirements as outlined in the caretaker agreement.
In addition, you will be required to maintain up to date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories and fire safety records and associated department related paperwork.
What You’ll Bring
This is a hands on management position and therefore you will be able to demonstrate the following;
- Previous experience in a management or supervisor role is essential
- Demonstrated high level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building and pool maintenance)
- Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools and care taking agreements will be highly regarded
- Experience with Hotel/Resort reburbishment highly regarded
- Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
- Results orientated, with strong time management and organiational skills and the ability to multask and use initiative
- Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operations
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods
- Ability to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reports
- Trade qualification desirable
- Current drivers licence
