The Senior Digital Designer of Digital Marketing & Growth plays an essential role in achieving these objectives, designed for an individual who combines creative vision with technical expertise in digital asset creation and copywriting. This role involves leveraging cutting-edge design tools and digital marketing strategies to develop compelling, data-driven campaigns that engage audiences and drive conversions.
As a pivotal member of the Digital Marketing & Growth Team, the Senior Digital Designer is responsible for crafting compelling digital experiences that elevate our brand and drive engagement. This role goes beyond traditional design tasks—it requires a creative leader who thrives in an evolving business environment, bringing clarity to ambiguity and transforming concepts into visually impactful campaigns. The Senior Digital Designer will leverage expertise in digital asset creation and user experience to shape the face of our marketing efforts, from ideation to execution. Through a blend of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and technology-driven solutions, this role ensures our messaging resonates with travelers worldwide while driving meaningful interactions and growth for our brand.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media or related degree, or appropriate amount of professional experience.
- 6+ years of work experience in a designer role.

Advanced Design Skills: Expertise in graphic design tools and software, with a strong ability to create visually appealing digital assets that engage and convert audiences. Identify opportunities to enhance consistency, optimize user experiences, and improve efficiency across the digital ecosystem.

Understanding of User Experience (UX): Deep knowledge of UX principles to enhance the usability and effectiveness of digital interfaces, ensuring a positive user interaction.

Copywriting Proficiency: Skilled in crafting compelling and persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences, aligns with brand voice, and achieves marketing objectives.

Project Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, marketing, email, web, paid media, analytics, and segmentation teams, to align design strategies with business goals.

Data-Driven Design Approach: Ability to use data and analytics to inform design decisions, optimizing campaigns for better performance and increased engagement.

Knowledge of Marketing Channels and Strategies: Familiarity with various digital marketing channels (social media, email, web) and strategies to integrate design effectively into broader marketing campaigns.

Trend Awareness: Staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of digital innovation.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement: Ability to mentor designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and ongoing improvement within the team.

Design Software Proficiency: Expertise in using advanced design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro), Figma, and other visual design tools for creating high-quality visuals.

Web Development Understanding: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with web development teams and make informed design decisions for web-based projects.

Responsive Design Techniques: Skills in designing flexible and responsive visuals that ensure optimal viewing across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Typography and Color Theory: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition to create aesthetically pleasing and effective designs.

Digital Asset Management: Knowledge of managing digital assets to ensure their optimal use across multiple platforms and marketing campaigns.

SEO Principles for Design: Awareness of SEO best practices that influence design decisions, ensuring that digital designs are optimized for search engines.

Motion Graphics and Video Editing: Skills in motion graphics and using video editing software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to create dynamic visuals and enhance digital storytelling.

Analytics Tools Familiarity: Competence in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to gather and interpret data, guiding the optimization of design strategies based on user behavior and feedback.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
