Travel + Leisure is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships. This position is responsible for establishing, optimizing, and enhancing strategic marketing partnerships that support new owner acquisition that will generate incremental free cash flow and operational efficiencies clearly measured in improved earnings and margins.
The position will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify strategic partners that create new owner opportunities, enhance the Travel + Leisure owner value proposition, and drive loyalty and revenue to all of Travel + Leisure. In addition, the position will be responsible for optimizing existing partnerships to maximize profitability and new owner acquisition. This position will manage various existing partnerships with the goal of optimizing our current programs to meet our revenue objectives.
This candidate will develop an understanding of the Travel + Leisure vacation programs and brand profiles and be able to strategize, prioritize, and execute partnerships that are relevant and additive to the owner experience. This position will require an outstanding team player who can effectively manage relationships and navigate within a complex matrixed organization. We are looking for an innovative individual who is results-oriented, analytically minded, and customer-centric. They will have responsibility and accountability to deliver impactful partnerships and drive revenue.
This is a hybrid opportunity out of our Orlando headquarters working in office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and remotely Thursday, Friday.
How You'll Shine:
- Assist with the innovation and optimization of existing revenue-generating partnerships and identify opportunities to reduce cost, leveraging data-based insights and analytical models to inform tactics
- Assist in the development of new partnerships with significant revenue potential for Travel + Leisure by leveraging a range of core assets (including the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, Travel + Leisure’s geographic footprint, and existing partnerships)
- Lead Partnerships team on campaign strategy and execution in collaboration with Travel + Leisure (field and corporate) marketing for partner promotions and related marketing activities in all channels (including websites, direct mail, email, on-property, call centers and 3rd party channels)
- Responsible for ensuring sales and marketing awareness of all partnerships and the value they achieve by providing timely reporting, training, and communications
- Lead partner contract negotiations, collaborate with legal, maintain the partner marketing budget, and manage agency contracts/fees
- Assist individual Travel + Leisure brands in defining their partnership/sponsorship strategies.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel may be required, but less than 25% of the time.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Metric-driven and analytical
- Ability to develop and articulate concepts and solutions to solve for customer experience gaps and improve business metrics – specifically driving customer account acquisition
- Marketing and process management experience, and ability to operationalize ideas/concepts
- Negotiating skills and ability to affect change within the organization
- Ability to manage and influence day to day partner relationships
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability; handles day-to-day challenges confidently and willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Ability to effectively prioritize issues
- Ability to influence and drive change
- Expertise in presentation skills including PowerPoint
- 3-5 years of experience in relationship management and/or new business development
- Consumer marketing and customer retention and lifecycle management experience
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
