As a Preventative Maintenance Tech I, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

Hotel/Building/Facilities/Apartment Maintenance

***1st or 2nd Shift Open availability weekends a must ***

***Valid Driver’s License.***

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Support general, basic resort operations by ensuring the interior of the room is ready for guest arrival as it relates to the workability of all aspects of the room to include lighting, electronics, appliances, plumbing and the general appearance of the interior of the unit.  
  • Primary duties are to prepare or “blitz” units, and perform basic repairs as necessary, to allow for immediate guest arrival, in addition to maintaining the common guest area.
  • Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed. 
  • Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
  • Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick-up of trash, general landscape work.
  • Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.  Adhere to the company’s safety programs.


What You’ll Bring:

  • 1–2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and understand English.
  • A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
  • Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Recommended: Experience with preventive maintenance programs, EPA certification for HVAC, and OSHA safety training.

Compensation

Generally starting at $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
