Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach is an eco-friendly beachfront resort in Tasmania, located 20 minutes from Hobart and 3 minutes from Hobart International Airport. It features self-contained apartments, a heated outdoor pool, an on-site restaurant and bar, a hobby farm, and direct access to pristine Seven Mile Beach
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with hands-on experience managing and maintaining a hobby farm. This is an essential requirement for the role, alongside strong resort/property maintenance experience.
Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department, ensuring the resort, units, grounds and common areas are maintained to a high standard and in accordance with Body Corporate requirements and the caretaker agreement.
You will also oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the resort’s hobby farm, including general farm operations, grounds, equipment and animal-related requirements.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories and fire safety requirements, as well as completing relevant reporting and administrative duties.

What You’ll Bring
Previous experience managing and maintaining a hobby farm is essential
Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar management role
Demonstrated technical experience across general property and grounds maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, building and pool maintenance
Strong understanding of hobby farm safety, maintenance and day-to-day operations
Knowledge of cleaning and grounds management within a hobby farm/resort environment
Experience with Strata properties, holiday letting, pools and caretaker agreements will be highly regarded
Hotel/resort refurbishment experience will be highly regarded
Current First Aid certificate and sound understanding of workplace health and safety and chemical handling
Strong problem-solving, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships, including with Strata owners
Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate maintenance and service records and prepare reports
Trade qualification desirable
Current unrestricted driver’s licence
