Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Sales Training Dept. including managing the Sales Trainers and Training Managers. The position creates, modifies and models best sales practices to implement across all brands at all sales locations. This will be done by effectively communicating with regional and site leaders, management team and Talent Team members with a strong emphasis on improving the guest experience in all touch points. Additionally this position will provide support for Owner and New Owners sales performance both on and off premises. General duties include facilitation and development of sales training, consultative based direction and assistance to field sales leaders, success-modeling, and tracking critical business drivers through reporting metrics. This role will assist in creation and deployment of all sales tools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Will take the lead on all training for the region relating to the roll out of new tools and processes while overseeing trainings to ensure these are delivered with success
· Responsible for training and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Specialist Presenter Program, including but not limited to, onboarding, new presenter training, and coaching of existing presenters
· Must have the ability to communicate and partner with the Regional leadership team including the SVP of Sales Development, VP Sales Development and Training, Sr. Director, Sales Development and Training, Regional EVP, SVP of Marketing, RSVP, AVP, Site VP, Site DOS and Regional Director of Recruiting
· Will collaborate with the Sr. Director of Sales Development and Training and VP Sales Development and Training as well as Regional Trainers on special projects, promotions, corporate initiatives and sharing best practices
· Possess the ability to identify opportunities relating to, but not limited to, the training department, sales lines (in house and front line), and sales processes with a desired follow through to affect and implement positive change
· Have the ability to keep all training positions filled with top talent
· This position will oversee training managers and all site trainers for the Region to ensure the following training criteria and responsibilities are met.
o Consistent communication and inspection of the job requirements for trainers and training managers
Travel Requirements
Frequent travel which can vary in intensity level by month. On average the travel time associated with this position is 50%. This percentage can be exceeded in a given period based on the needs of the business.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
· College Degree, preferred. High School required.
· Must have the ability to obtain a real estate license in the states where you oversee training
· Minimum of 3 years Wyndham sales management experience. Front line, in house and Specialist Presentation skills a plus.
· Proven successful track record with Wyndham sales and the ability to T.O. tables.
· Strong project management skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Proven ability to influence and lead change
· Thorough understanding of Wyndham Destinations products
· Comprehensive knowledge of Wyndham Destinations timeshare sales training platforms and processes
· Comprehensive knowledge of Wyndham Destinations sales projects including Specialist Presenter and Exit Operations
· Strong working knowledge of industry marketing, sales, training, and servicing operations
· Facilitative/consultative leadership abilities with demonstrated track record
· Proficient in MS Office programs and MobileIron applications
· Familiarity and proficiency with Wyndham Destinations reporting systems
· Familiarity and working knowledge of mobile technology, i.e. iPad, iPhone, touchscreens
