Travel and Leisure is searching for a Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Reporting in Indianapolis, IN. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Panorama segment month-end and quarter-end close processes and maintaining proper SOX documentation. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for consolidating segment results in Hyperion Financial Management and various reports to support to management, regional finance and other stakeholders. The candidate should be self-motivated and will be required to independently take action to achieve the organization's goals. Although this is a fully remote role, applicants must reside within a commutable distance to Indianapolis, IN to attend regular meetings.
How You'll Shine:
Perform month-end close and consolidation process, including conducting financial statement analysis and consolidating various internal and external reporting deliverables.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual corporate reporting packages used in the preparation of SEC reporting.
Prepare the monthly reporting analyses and reviews to ensure all assessments are conducted timely and that all issues or questions are resolved and documented efficiently and effectively.
Prepare various monthly journal entries and maintain related support.
Review, monitor and recommend improvements to internal controls and assist the company with its SOX Compliance.
Perform trouble shooting and provide guidance with Hyperion Financial Management issues.
Maintain and provide support for internal and external auditors
Assist with the implementation of accounting guidance.
Liaison and support the Financial Systems team on implementations, upgrades and other systems changes.
Work closely with domestic and internal teams to ensure the business needs are met.
Special projects
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required. CPA preferred.
2-4 years of progressive accounting experience
Knowledge of US GAAP and strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Demonstrated PC skills, including SharePoint, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Essbase and Hyperion/Hyperion Financial Management
Intermediate to Advance Excel skills
Ability to design and maintain reporting to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Must be able to adapt to changing requests and prioritize workload.
Hands on and detail oriented
Strong organizational and communication skills
