PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

At Wyndham Destinations our vision is to put the World on Vacation, in your position as the Human Resources Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team servicing the Asia region.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

  • Provide administrational assistance with key people-related activities including talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, leadership development and professional growth.
  • Monitor and maintain the Company’s Reward & Recognition System and Referral Programs
  • Actively partner with key stakeholders across your portfolio to enhance the employee experience, drive employee engagement to influence culture and alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Provide data analytics support to measure key HR metrics and provide meaningful reporting for business decision making
  • Coordinate employment related paperwork
  • Ensure data integrity by assisting with system and data audits
  • Partner with the WHS & Wellbeing Manager to help promote key initiatives that benefit the wellness of our Associates.
  • Facilitate or assist with internal training sessions or learning initiatives
  • Supporting the broader Human Resources team across the Asia region to deliver its strategic objectives, including involvement in people-focused projects that will have a positive impact.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Contribute positively to organization and team objectives.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times and within the guidelines set by State and Federal laws and company policies.
  • Actively participate as a team member to achieve company and departmental goals
  • Support the HR team in developing and implementing projects
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested within your skill and capacity as directed by your manager
  • Employees must ensure they comply with WDAP’s OH&S Policy, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by WDAP.
  • Employees must not wilfully place at risk the health and safety of themselves or any other persons in the workplace and to not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, including confidence to liaise with more Senior HR practitioners and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • A strong administrative base, including ability to navigate and prepare reporting and navigate systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with capability to prepare dashboards to present key metrics and data
  • Demonstrates autonomy and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to solve routine problems.
  • Ability to prioritise heavy workloads, multi-task and demonstrate high levels of initiative.
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office programs.
  • A qualification in Human Resources or related field will be highly regarded
  • Proven experience in being involved in recruitment practices would be highly regarded.
  • A willingness to get involved in project work.
  • A true enthusiasm and passion for the HR profession, and desire to make meaningful contribution to continuously enhance our employee experience focus.
