TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide is on the search for a Restaurant and Bar Manager.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Adelaide’s Central Business District, home to many of the city’s top attractions, TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide is a stunningly modern top-of-the-line 120 room hotel with an upbeat culture and an eye-catching design. The Hotel features Z Kitchen on the Ground level and TRYP Bar on level one, a boardroom, Gym, Games Room, Library and also a Business Center for our guests to use.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic and innovative, hands-on Restaurant and Bar Manager to join the TRYP Adelaide team.  This is no ordinary Restaurant and Bar Manager job. We need a leader who has their finger on the pulse of the city and the fast pace of Gen X and Y urban culture.  This leader will not only have the personality to reflect the unique and vibrant feel of TRYP, but one that will have the drive to build our Food and Beverage Operation from the ground up, creating the TRYP culture, of service with all the personal touches our hotel guests deserve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and launch strategic promotions aimed at increasing Food & Beverage revenue.
• Create and publish engaging organic content for our social media platforms, particularly Instagram, to grow awareness and customer engagement.
• Take full ownership of revenue generation across all F&B outlets through proactive planning and delivery of service excellence.
• Respond promptly and professionally to event and group dining enquiries, including quotations, bookings, and coordination across the venues.
• Partner with the Head Chef to conceptualise and execute creative events that enhance our offerings and contribute to revenue growth.
• Recruit, train, and continually develop the F&B team while maintaining a strong focus on financial performance.

The qualified candidate must have a proven track record in food and beverage operation and have experience in delivering innovative customer service strategies.  The ability to recruit, train and continually develop our food and beverage team, whilst maintaining a strong focus on financial performance of the outlets 

We are looking for the “hand on personality” not just the experience, if you have a background in Food and Beverage operations, and most of importantly the Gen X / Y personality then we are looking for you!  Please note this role is open only for permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand.
