How You’ll Shine
As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing financial month-end reporting for a portfolio of Club Wyndham resorts across the South Pacific region. You will also contribute to the Club budgeting and forecasting process, while ensuring tight financial controls are maintained in compliance with company policies and accounting practices
The role also involves:
- Overseeing financial month-end reporting for a portfolio of Club Wyndham resorts across the South Pacific region.
- Taking ownership of assigned areas within the Club budgeting and forecasting process.
- Providing monthly reporting and analysis of CAPEX project spend, directly communicating with senior operational stakeholders.
- Assisting the CWSP Senior Corporate Accountant and Finance Manager – Hospitality with financial, accounting, and analytical projects.
- Monthly reconciliation of selected accounts.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register for designated resorts.
- Analyzing and managing the Building Reserve fund spend for allocated resorts.
- Reconciling intercompany accounts.
- Completing month-end deliverables as directed.
- Ensuring tight financial controls are maintained and enhanced in compliance with group directives, policies, and sound accounting practices.
What You’ll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevent Accounting qualification with 2+ years experience ( hospitality industry and related accounting practices)
CPA/CA qualifications are highly desired
- Strong work ethic with outstanding customer service in a deadline driven environment
- Experience in a multi-currency environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
