How You’ll Shine

Preparation and posting of month-end journals in relation to WDAP accounting and its consolidated entities as assigned per the month-end accounting checklist.

• Preparation and posting of general journals, and resolution of queries from stakeholders
• Preparation of monthly financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP to ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutes.
• Review of general and administration expenses and liasing with department heads to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial information.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis (or shorter timing depending on the account)
• Preparation of the Goods & Services Tax monthly business activity statements for the Australian consolidated group and New Zealand entities
• Preparation of Technical Papers and Accounting Memorandums
• Identify any areas of weakness in controls and recommend/take action.
• Perform additional tasks as requested from time to time
