Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant (EA) who can effectively manage and defend the calendar, ensuring optimal time management and prioritization. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to perform basic tasks in PowerPoint and Excel and have a strong understanding of the business to help prioritize meetings effectively. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can provide leadership and guidance to the Finance Team, functioning similarly to a Chief of Staff role. Most importantly, the candidate must excel in foundational EA skills, high level of discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities with grace and efficiency. This role will be in office 5 days a week.
What You’ll Bring
Calendar Management: Efficiently manage and defend the calendar, ensuring that meetings and appointments are prioritized and scheduled appropriately.
Administrative Tasks: Perform basic tasks in PowerPoint and Excel, including creating presentations and managing spreadsheets.
Meeting Prioritization: Utilize business knowledge to help prioritize meetings and ensure that the most critical issues are addressed promptly.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Finance Team, helping to steer and lead the team effectively.
Foundational EA Skills: Demonstrate mastery of essential EA skills, including organization, communication, and time management.
How You’ll Shine
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Leadership experience or the ability to guide and support a team.
10+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars and anticipate scheduling conflicts with a proactive approach.
Proven experience coordinating detailed domestic and international travel itineraries and handling related expense reports
Knowledge of the finance industry or relevant business experience preferred.
Experience in a Chief of Staff or similar position preferred.
