The CRM Team at Travel + Leisure Co. Vacation Clubs is pivotal in driving strategic and tactical initiatives that improve business process, enhance customer insights, and ensure data integrity. Positioned within the business, the team aligns cross-functional efforts, stays updated with technical advancements, and manages vendor relationships. They help ensure clean, reliable data can be leveraged to guide informed decision making across the business. Acting as trusted advisors, they actively participate in problem-solving, helping the company navigate challenges and achieve its objectives.
The Business Systems Analyst at Travel + Leisure Co. plays a key role in aligning business needs with technical solutions. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, optimizing system functionality, managing user stories, and overseeing release management. They will facilitate testing, ensure seamless rollouts, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize high-impact initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Serving as a liaison between business and technology teams, the Analyst will document processes, enforce best practices, and ensure that prioritized technical work aligns with broader operational objectives. Collaborating with the Certified Admin team, they will drive continuous improvements to maximize system value and effectiveness across the organization. With a strong technical background, the Analyst will leverage their expertise to recommend and help implement the most effective solutions for the business.
How You'll Shine:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points, objectives, and operational challenges
Effectively gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
Define and document process improvements to enhance Salesforce adoption and efficiency
Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation, workflows, and system enhancements
Ensure best practices for system configuration, data integrity, and user experience
Partner with IT teams to evaluate integrations and optimize Salesforce as a business platform
Define and document detailed user stories with acceptance criteria
Prioritize and manage backlog items to align with business goals and technical capabilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of system enhancements, defects, and bugs
Conduct training sessions and create documentation to improve Salesforce adoption
Function as a liaison between technical teams and business users to facilitate smooth communication
Coordinate and support the business during UAT to ensure system functionality before deployment
Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices to drive continuous improvements
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
Certified Salesforce Administrator, preferred
IIBA certifications, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred
Solid understanding of the principles of release management and user acceptance testing
Demonstrated data analytics skills with the ability to create meaningful reports to support decision making
Excellent communication and people skills are essential for engaging stakeholders, managing expectations
Proficient in mapping, documenting, and optimizing business processes for clarity and efficiency.
Adaptable to evolving business requirements and technology landscape
Knowledge of configuring and customizing business systems (like Salesforce or other CRM platforms)
Proficiency in working with data—understanding data models, performing data analysis
Understanding system integration techniques and protocols (APIs, web services, ETL processes)
Proficiency in tools for capturing and managing requirements, such as JIRA
5 years of previous experience with Salesforce configuration and customization
Implementing and configuring business systems to meet organizational needs
Analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements
Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives
Serving as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and project success
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
