The Account Executive provides active account management and represents RCI within assigned account portfolio. The Account Executive targets, creates & secures potential new business, establishes solid and productive relationships to maintain ongoing partnerships with clients at all levels within the organization. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales goals and service objectives by training, servicing and promoting products and services that provide mutual benefit. The Account Executive is responsible for supporting team environment structure, working directly with Director and Business Manager to integrate activities to the team/organization strategy. This is a hybrid role, in office Monday - Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.

Customer Service: Maintains affiliate relationships by providing timely customer-focused response to client needs; trains and educates resort operational and sales staff, solves problems and troubleshoots, attends and presents at HOA meetings. Be able to deal with Sales reps, Supervisors, managers, directors, etc.

Sales: Identifies opportunities to deliver RCI products/services through client discovery and advocates usage of such based to advance mutual partnership.

Portfolio Management: Obtains targeted contract renewals. Ensures contract fulfillment obligations are met. Identifies client issues. Develops and administers service strategy. Monitors resort quality and administers RQIP program as it relates to on-site activities.

Industry Relations: Attends and participates in area industry events (conferences/ seminars). Gathers competitor information and communicates appropriately. Communicates client issues/concerns to management team and other appropriate company team members. Networks with industry players and establishes relationships. Participates in local ARDA chapter as assigned. Increases personal industry knowledge.

Team Responsibilities: Supports team environment by giving appropriate and timely communication, acting as content expert for training programs, working to accomplish team objectives and participating on special projects as assigned. Supports team in projects related to assigned resort portfolio.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel required to adequately cover assigned territory, service clients, and attend industry/company conferences. Estimate between 25% and 50% of an individual’s time with varying destinations required.
What You'll Bring:
- 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in business, sales, real estate, travel, or hospitality-related fields
- AEI Certification within 1 year
- Good oral and written communication skills including presentation skills, ability to problem solve, ability to self- manage, initiative, good judgment and decisiveness.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Use of presentation technology or ability to learn
- 2-year or more preferred experience working in Timeshare operations
- RCI knowledge preferred
- Prefer applicants with a demonstrated progressive career path
- Prefer applicants with 5 or more years in a position that consists of resort client contact, project management, and training/presentation or staff leadership
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
