POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for achieving defined sales targets, assisting in personnel selection and development and is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction for the WVR Sales Line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These are the essential functions of the position and are not inclusive of all duties:

  • Adhere to and administer sales policies and guidelines by representing the company in an ethical, moral and professional manner. Ensure a high level of customer service and quality sales presentations.
  • Adhere to company and industry best practices.
  • Effectively deliver required sales targets
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Training, evaluating, and monitoring the performance goals of direct reports
  • Constructive involvement in daily sales meetings
  • Lead by example in both professional and personal life
  • Maintain personal sales targets.
     

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience in the vacation ownership profession, sales management experience preferred
     

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are a representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to perform these duties successfully.   • Strong leadership abilities

  • Knowledge and application of sales techniques such as: building rapport, needs/values selling, negotiating, and closing the sale

  • Working knowledge of technology
  • Track record of success selling Wyndham Destinations products
     

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Set an example for desired behaviors and performance by maintaining monthly sales performance targets. This is a leadership position and leadership behaviors are expected
  • Assist the VP of Sales with hiring and training new sales reps. (Act as a mentor to new sales reps)
  • Assist with monthly collaboration/review with low producers on team
  • Complete at least one self-development task assigned by the VP of Sales per quarter
  • Participate in regular strategy meetings with sales leadership 
  • President Club winner preferred
     

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND REGISTRATIONS:
 

Maintain appropriate state license/certification based on state requirements
