The VP, CRM/Salesforce Product Management leader is part of the Global CRM & Digital Marketing Team. The VP, CRM/Salesforce Product Management leader collaborates with cross-functional teams at Travel and Leisure Co to deliver technology solutions from inception through sustainment. The VP, CRM/Salesforce Product Management is responsible for managing multiple platforms that yield insights, build new capabilities and business processes designed to drive growth, optimize the overall customer experience and business results.

This role calls for a strong, collaborative leader capable of leading the growth and development of our most strategic customer engagement systems. You will have demonstrated an excellent track record for implementing multiple Salesforce Orgs from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption. You are comfortable with ambiguity and launching new capabilities of the platform. You can lead teams to rapidly iterate and improve Salesforce system, grow and support the user community, build long-term strategy with partners in marketing and sales business units. Ensure Salesforce enhancement capabilities aligns with the overall strategy of the organization. Be the expert on the Salesforce domain, the ecosystem, the trends. Build impactful, personal partner and stakeholder relationships. Work with Product Owners to bring the customer's voice into the creation process.

This position requires hands-on experience with the Salesforce.com Platform, stakeholder management, delivery management and day-to-day team management.  This individual is the subject matter expert of the Salesforce.com Platform; responsible for successful sustainment, enhancement and deployment throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive for the best experience possible for agents, supervisors, and the customers they serve.
  • Drive the end-to-end feature delivery cycle. Measure and drive success
  • Lead a cross-functional team to support the CRM Team in development of the strategic CRM roadmap .  Additionally, lead a direct team to rapidly iterate and improve new product enhancements to drive end user efficiencies
  • Build long term strategy with partners within internal, IT, marketing and sales business units while ensuring that it aligns with the overall Salesforce Platform strategy
  • Evangelize our vision for deeply integrated Customer Household so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going
  • Guide internal team to “best practice”; requirements, specifications, and release plans
  • Guide what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development
  • Collaborate across business teams, across IT and architecture
  • Proactively guiding business process mentality, technology and change management to support the business strategy
  • Establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the CRM strategy
  • Partner with IT and consultants to drive project execution and provide leadership in defining scope, prioritization and acceptance criteria

Travel Requirements

25%.  Mostly traveling to other T+L office locations and Resorts

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge and skills

  • 10+ years of Salesforce product management experience, including experience with Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning software
  • Experience with standing up a new org from ground up to go-live and sustainment multiple times
  • Experience with highly customized org with integrations in and out of the environment including packages form the AppExchange
  • Experience with Salesforce contracts, renewals, licensing agreements, master services agreements and professional service engagements
  • Experience with the Salesforce System Integrators ecosystem and their specific specialties
  • Experience gathering and transforming business requirements and market needs into a successful product strategy
  • Experience with the all Salesforce Cloud Objects and their relationships across the Salesforce Platform including Salesforce Marketing Cloud so to recommend “best practice” use of Salesforce capabilities
  • Strong organizational as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort in high-level business discussions with internal and external executives
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments

Technical Skills

  • High-level of experience with Salesforce Technologies

Job experience / Qualifications

  • 10+ Years experience working on Salesforce Platforms
  • 5+ Years in a leadership role within a digital organization
  • Prior experience in travel & hospitality a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with experience presenting at all levels throughout an organization
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Proven ability to manage a large team as well as influence many other areas of an organization to execute projects.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
