Summary:

Wyndham Destinations is seeking a Travel Product Manager in Orlando, Florida. The Travel Product Manager works with multiple departments across Travel + Leisure to facilitate launch of and enhancements to products and programs developed to support the company’s strategic pillar of customer obsession and revenue generation.

Responsible for sourcing product to expand the offerings in pre-determined destinations in order to enhance the owner vacation experience. Responsible for developing and maintaining travel offers and content on the Club websites to increase travel bookings and drive repeat visits to the site, with a focus on online bookings.  Responsible for the execution, performance and oversight of new and ongoing programs while developing strong relationships within and outside of the organization to maximize results and meet the strategic pillars set forth by the company. Accountable for achieving specific goals for each product, including evaluating product performance, and identifying innovations to address customer needs and improve product performance in the market.

This position effectively and efficiently manages the movement of products and programs through brand, legal, training, owner services, communications and other relevant corporate functions for final implementation with a focus on meeting the goals of both the organization and external partners. Must be comfortable with moving timelines and have the ability to manage several ongoing products or programs at one time.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the structure and assess the performance of new and existing product lines

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic product plans for key initiatives, such as the introduction of new products, product line extensions or product enhancements

  • Assists in direction and oversight to brand and marketing on the development of collateral materials that will support the new product or program. Ensures working with legal to review and submit for approval the sales and marketing materials to be used at point of sale when selling or representing the new product or program

  • Responsible for achieving specific goals for each product, including evaluating product performance and identifying innovations to address customer needs and improve product performance in the market

  • Build and promote special offers and promotions, ensuring online booking functionality

  • Manage administrative functions of online booking platform, including building products, marking up and discounting products, promotions management and tracking and other support functions

  • Identify sources, monitor, analyze and interpret key product performance metrics including financials, booking volumes, other key statistics and internal/external customer feedback trends, then develop and communicate findings and make strategic and tactical recommendations for performance improvements

  • Define and execute strategic product road-maps to build new products, enhance existing products or improve performance

  • Track and understand industry trends, research findings and competitive innovations

  • Provide business analysis and reporting on a periodic basis

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop or support sales efforts or go-to-market strategies

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3-5 years experience working in online travel product management and Marketing

  • Technical Skills with the following programs preferred: HTML, Power BI, Jira, Apollo GDS

  • 2+years in Travel Product Development and Marketing
