MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and assess training needs within a company by working with the Learning and Development Specialist and meeting with the Contact Centre Manager and Team Leaders.
Plan, conduct, coordinate and implement a comprehensive training program for the sales staff. The training components will be geared toward new hires, existing sales staff and sales professionals who seek one-on-one assistance.
Develop a training program that is unique to the organization's goals, values and mission statement. The program should be continually monitored for effectiveness and suitability to the sales team.
Ensure that all sales professionals have thorough knowledge of the product, can effectively use closing skills, overcome objections, and use consultative selling techniques.
Conduct ongoing training for all skill levels, including basic sales skills, as well as advanced sales techniques. To also modify training programs whenever required.
Create teaching materials, interactive multimedia presentations, monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios for a more direct and structured learning experience.
Possess excellent presentation skills, as well as the ability to motivate, teach and inspire the sales staff.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is not mandatory but encouraged. Presentations should include handouts, and be well organized and professional.
Any other duties as required and/or directed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to meet performance objectives, exhibit self-discipline, display Contact Centre and company values as well as core competencies.
Proven subject matter expertise in holiday ownership, timeshare exchange, systems and all RCI products including and not limited to Weeks Enhancement, RCI Platinum and Trading Power Protection.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with proven time management skills.
Demonstrated initiative in introducing new concepts or ideas.
Ability to make decisions confidently and assertively and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders, externally and internally.
Demonstrated leadership in a dynamic, leisure-related environment with specific focus on revenue achievement and consultant skills and knowledge development.
Proven sales management ability for the Contact Centre with a strong customer service focus with demonstrated track record in meeting team targets
