The Senior Analyst, System Integrations and Automation executes responsibilities for three core functional areas unique to Extra Holidays- Reporting, integrations and automation. Collectively, these areas of responsibility support every department within Extra Holidays to drive incremental revenue, reduce costs and provide tools to improve decision velocity. Using data feeds from external OTA’s and PMS systems, this position will carry out the implementations and creations put forth by the manager to achieve desired rental revenue, ADR and margin goals. Collaborate with rental sales & marketing teams on promotions, campaigns and new distribution channels to ensure optimal system setup and report on campaign effectiveness. Directly work with Analysts and Sr. Analysts to ensure smooth operation of processes, system setup and regular reporting.

Essential Job Functions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute programing and reporting projects asked upon the System Integration & Reporting team. Maximize multi-system capability and drive rental strategy.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and maximize system use of rental inventory.

  • Assist in the onboarding and integration of new lines of business and or technology into the Extra Holidays business unit. Automate processes and create tools to improve efficiency.

Research and Analysis:

  • Continuously seek opportunities for improving suite of Extra Holidays platform tools for internal processes, forecasting, system set-up and reporting.

  • Follow through on automations and process improvement opportunities and stay abreast of continued technology changes.

Collaboration:

  • Work in partnership with Yield, Marketing, and Accounting to integrate new resorts, vendors, suppliers and technology onto the Extra Holidays platform.

  • Establish the release of new initiatives and projects to ensure implementation, setup and required processes.

Coordination:

  • Maximize internal and external relationships to effectively deliver new solutions and processes.

  • Continually improve tools and analytics to support accurate weekly and monthly forecasts and marketing campaign initiatives.

Leadership:

  • Assist Manager in weekly project meetings, provide insight into system efficiency trends and project development stages.

  • Identifies future system and automation opportunities and effectively communicates through the organization.

Planning:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling annual system enhancement through development lifecycles and reporting evaluations.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • 4 year degree in computer science, business management or related field

Knowledge and skills

  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Must be able to remain focused and attentive to detail in order to maintain accuracy

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems related to guest services

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of RCC, Micros Opera and other PMS providers

  • Knowledge of I-Hotelier

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau

  • Knowledge of programming languages C#, Java, VBA, SQL, Web technologies

  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SAS, or other analytics software  

Job experience

  • 2-3 years Project management, automation, analytics

  • Hospitality experience

  • Experience leading teams and working with remote reports
