Wyndham Destinations is looking for an Operations Supervisor for the Title Services Department. The Operations Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of the daily activities for the assigned Title Services Team, responsible for leading, guiding and developing a team of approximately 5-20 Title Closers/Clerks/Inventory Specialists, proactively identifies process improvements and uses critical thinking to propose and execute solutions. They also communicate professionally at all levels, provides training assistance to team members and responsible for reporting metrics on different processes to review productivity and make informed decisions. In addition, this position plays an integral part in selecting prospective employees, as well as, the training and development of new and existing staff.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Employee Development (25% time)

  • Track and analyze individual employees, as well as, team’s performance.

  • Create development plans for employees to help drive company engagement.

  • Conduct informal training sessions for team members.

  • Ensure employees understand and apply information presented during formal training sessions.

  • Serve as mentor for team members.

  • Monitor employees as appropriate and provide feedback. This encourages development.

Team Management (20% time)

  • Effectively communicate at a team and individual level.

  • Conduct team meetings on a regular basis.

  • Maintain an environment where excellence is rewarded and personal development is encouraged.

  • Maintain high employee satisfaction levels.

  • Reward and recognize individual and team performance.

Performance Management (20% time)

  • Understand, utilize, and enforce department and company policy, procedures and standards.

  • Measure and improve productivity, conduct and quality standards/expectations.

  • Prepare and conduct monthly one on one’s and annual performance reviews.

  • Document performance conversations, and take appropriate corrective action.

Program and Product Administration (10% time)

  • Ensure employees properly use and communicate details of specific Title Service Processes and Procedures.

  • Resolve any employee related escalated servicing issues.

  • Take Supervisor calls from Owners, and handle until issues are resolved.

Administrative Duties (10% time)

  • Provide assistance to other teams within Title Services, as required.

  • Assist in the selection of new hires, by conducting interviews.

  • Provide frontline technical assistance (passwords, computer/phone problems) to agents.

  • Ensure Wyntime is approved on a weekly basis, and there are no missed punches.

Personal Learning and Self-Improvement (10% time)

  • Assume full accountability for learning of new skills, techniques, programs, etc.

  • Create and execute a development plan with Manager.

  • Participate fully in coaching sessions and partner with Manager and others in development process.

Performs other duties as needed (5% time)

Travel Requirements

This position requires 5% travel.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a 4 year College Degree Preferred.

  • Knowledge and skills

  • Self-Motivated, high energy, and superior business acumen leadership qualities.

  • Ability to develop and motivate staff.

  • Sound judgement and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to review employee data and behavior to target coaching opportunities.

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, including having confidence speaking in front of large groups.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Technical Skills

  • CSS/Mainframe and Microsoft Office Programs.

Job experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in a fast-paced environment; 3-5 years’ leadership experience a plus.

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
