The  Strategic Partnerships Manager – Resort Vacation Certificates (RVC) is responsible for the planning and execution of all sales activities and securing growth for the business in key market verticals. The Strategic Partnerships Manager (RVC) will drive sales through a variety of channels including tradeshows and conferences. S/he will strive to meet customer expectations and provide superior customer service and support while upholding quality standards. S/he will be responsible for tracking monthly sales quotas in addition to meeting annual revenue targets.

The Strategic Partnerships Manager (RVC) will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure all sales and marketing activities reflect our ability to support customer expectations. S/he will possess a strong work ethic that aligns with company policy and values and can demonstrate a solid understanding of our customer needs and market dynamics.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Execute on existing marketing/business plan to ensure attainment of RVC sales targets

  • Maintain and build on relationships with existing account portfolio

  • Develop the business within existing and in new verticals

  • Set up and attend: client meetings, tradeshows and conferences both virtually and in person

  • Conducting one-on-one and group sales presentations

  • Assist Sr. Sales Manager and Marketing Manager in development of sales promotions and campaigns

  • Ongoing update and tracking of pipeline and sales reporting

Travel Requirements

Travel requirements can vary based on business need and the seasonality of our business. On average, the travel time expectation for this position is 50% each year.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor degree

  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Develop business acumen by attending tradeshows, reading newsletters, follow key accounts in social media, and regular client communication

  • Demonstrate ability to handle customer service issues and defuse frustrations

  • Must possess good written and oral communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to prepare professional PowerPoint presentations online and in group settings

  • Know the pricing and policies for our products and services

  • Demonstrate ability to close deals and drive sales

Technical Skills

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Zoom, Box, Power BI, a plus

Job experience

  • Minimum 3 years of sales, customer service and account management experience

  • Experience with sales presentations, required
