The Senior Cash Management Associate supports Cash and Banking Operations leadership and associates with managing daily team objectives to meet department service levels including facilitating cash flow by contributing to the processing automated and manual customer payments. The Sr. Cash Management Associate supports Sales through the management and tracking of devices and audit internal business functions. The position is required to research and respond to internal customer inquiries, including escalated inquiries that require immediate attention and resolution. Additionally, this positions participates on enterprise wide projects and testing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports leadership and associates to achieve the completion of daily processes by collaborating on process related questions and to validate dashboard metrics for check processing, returned items, ebox, and chargebacks
  • Provide timely responses to internal and external audit items including providing documentation to support audit requests
  • Monitor MBX Inbox activity daily and provide guidance to associates in responding to more complex issues received. Research, resolve, and respond to internal customer inquiries in a timely manner, including escalated issues that require immediate attention
  • Analyze trending of payment declines and alert leadership of issues
  • Identify misapplied payments and proactively partner with business reduce errors
  • Assist in resolving payment file issues, contacting IT to open trouble tickets, following issue through resolution, and communicating results to management and team. Participate in performing system and project testing of new and updated applications and system enhancements.
  • Assist leadership in training new associates and cross training existing associates in all departmental functions
  • Supporting third party vendors
  • Maintain terminal inventory, support sales through credit card Sharepoint site, and timely and accurately respond to business partners

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates Degree Preferred

Knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of payments processing
  • Basic treasury functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Detailed, accurate, and thorough
  • Ability to adapt to changes and a demanding work environment
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Responsive to escalated issues focused on resolution
  • Meet or exceed deadlines

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate to strong skills in Excel preferred
  • Basic computer skills required in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Job Experience

  • 2 years+ Cash or Banking experience

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
