The Senior HRIS Analyst will provide production support and ongoing maintenance of the Workday system, as well as support special projects and new implementations within Workday.  This position will perform system configuration across select or all modules (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, and Learning), as well as maintain Workday security structure.  The Senior HRIS Analyst will act as a subject matter expert on the system, providing support and guidance to the HR team, managers and employees on proper use of Workday in support of overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Workday security role configuration/assignment and business process security policy maintenance
  • Ensure data integrity within Workday and downstream systems by developing audit processes and analyses
  • Maintain awareness and inventory of current Workday business process configuration, security access, reports and setup values
  • Configure and support various Workday modules
  • Partner closely with HRIS team, business and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations
  • Assists in rollout and implementation of HR programs
  • Supports the review, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Workday module(s) upgrades and patches
  • Assists in various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with HRIS data audits and cleanup
  • Assist with broadening internal knowledge of Workday through hands-on training to HRIS and other support teams
  • Identifies and recommends product configurations, enhancements or workarounds
  • Develop technical knowledge and skills through informal exploration, formal training and experience.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years demonstrated experience with web-based HCM/HRIS applications required
  • 2+ years work experience with Workday HCM preferred; with a strong understanding of foundational organization structures, worker and staffing processes, and security in Workday
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS and database systems management; Systems thinking orientation, with demonstrated ability to identify and address root causes
  • Strong technical implementation skills. Able to research new functionality using Workday Community and build out configuration in test environment. Coordinate test case documentation and required testing / validation across multiple functional teams
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficient in other MS Office Suite products
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures with the aptitude and desire to learn more and support a dynamic function
  • Clear and professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams
  • Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related area is preferred
