Job Description

The role of Senior. Director, Digital Products and Implementation will require an individual who can lead a team of Product Directors to build global, high-quality and relentlessly-focused products. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Management Leader to help innovate and execute products for a range of businesses, transforming how our brands interact and consumers transact. We are looking for someone who has a pulse on where technology is going and how we can harness it to drive Travel + Leisure Co. into the future. This position is full-time and will work a hybrid model (M-T-W, in office, T-F remote) out of our Orlando office . Relocation assistance will be available

Position Description

This role works across the enterprise ensuring a holistic vision of Travel + Leisure Co.’s Digital Properties and the end-user consumer experience. This role will work with cross-functional teams in digital, development, business teams, brand and digital marketing aligning the vision and roadmap to meet best practices and ensuring work streams meet and exceed defined goals, budgets and deadlines.  This role will develop a view of all Travel + Leisure Co. digital product lines as one enterprise roadmap and help Travel + Leisure Co. move their goals forward.
This role will have a team of Directors and Managers responsible for various products, owning the holistic roadmap and user experience across the products, communication, , tracking and delivery of the digital products.
We are looking for someone with digital product management knowledge and proven experience mentoring and leading teams.

In order to deliver the right product roadmap and consumer experience necessary to grow Travel + Leisure Co.’s Digital footprint, this candidate must be able to…

  • Manage a team of Product Directors to lead the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of platforms as a service, digital product installations, integrations and, ultimately, the monetization of consumer experiences

  • Lead and evolve digital capital planning process, working with extended teams and key stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional working groups compromised of UX professionals, marketers, analysts and developers.

  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution with peer groups and Senior Leadership.

  • Establish long-term, productive relationships with partners to effectively run Digital Product management process on-going

  • Offer organizational design thinking to best structure the team and equip them for success in their goals

  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, designers and user researchers

  • Facilitate regular Digital Product Roadmap/Portfolio review with Leadership Teams to action on, highlighting key details to inform their decision making process

  • Manage change and functionality request process to feed roadmap/portfolio planning

  • Own and manage internal budgeting workflow and pipeline planning

  • Engage with internal and external partners to assure proper resource planning and providing comprehensive briefs for estimations

  • Define, develop, and drive standardization of planning and reporting practices

  • Implement standards, practices, and techniques of project and portfolio management using working knowledge of agile project methodologies

  • Own ongoing portfolio management processes: completing ongoing portfolio reporting, highlighting escalation or exceptions, assisting with new team members onto project tracking tools, coaching to assure project delivery success

  • Track digital portfolio planning issues and key project milestones to identify and manage project interdependencies and mitigate risks

  • Create and manage a portfolio dashboard, which outlines both the projects currently underway and those in the backlog, with their priority according to the overall business objectives

  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a MS/MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred

Job Experience

  • 8-10 years of leadership experience in a digital organization

  • 5+ years in software product management leadership roles with a proven experience of shipping successful products

  • 3+ years developing products for Travel Industry, Retail, FinTech, or any other consumer facing ecosphere

Knowledge and Technical skills

  • Significant and demonstrable experience in leading teams/organizations in bringing high quality digital products to market

  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategy and execution skills at the enterprise level. This role requires that the candidate have a proven track record of leading large teams through ideation, design and delivery of complex consumer experiences

  • UX excellence DNA, obsessed with delighting users. Extensive experience in conceptualizing, defining and creating best in class customer experiences

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical skills

  • Proven success influencing leaders of sales, marketing, product, design, and engineering

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to define, plan, and lead projects forward

  • Desire to get hands dirty in the details

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
