About the role
Club Wyndham Resort Wanaka is located in a spectacular region on New Zealand’s South Island nearby to awe-inspiring natural wonders including Mount Aspiring National Park, Rob Roy Glacier and The Clutha River. The resort in Wanaka is nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street only a short stroll from Lake Wanaka and within two kilometres from the heart of the village.

About the role
The Resort Manager's main focus is to oversee and drive the delivery of all resort departments including Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Guest Relations.
At Club Wyndham we ensuring every guest is well looked after from the moment they walk through the door and throughout the duration of their stay is paramount for the success of the role.
You will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, staff and customers with an aim to continually improve the overall guest experience. In addition you will have the ability to create strategies in collaboration with other leaders in the business.
This role comes with a strong level of autonomy, allowing you to genuinely impact the operation and success of the business.
About you
- Operational knowledge and experience in all hotel departments including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping and conferencing.
- Proven experience in driving and achieving top line revenue and bottom line results
- Eye for detail and an analytical mind
- Ability to develop a budget and make sound decisions to ensure the hotel operates efficiently
- Effective leadership, organisational and interpersonal communication skills
- An open door policy with the ability to train, coach, counsel and develop employees
