The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing various tactical elements of marketing projects and processes. 

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will assist the team in collecting and maintaining marketing campaign results, process and record invoices, and help with the overall efficiency of the team.  The candidate should be highly motivated, eager to learn and detailed-oriented.  They will have solid communication and project management skills, along with a passion for and working knowledge of marketing.  They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to focus on multiple deliverables, as well as be extremely flexible to changes in plans based on specific business needs.   

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Marketing Managers in the executional tasks of deploying marketing campaigns

  • Work and communicate cross-functionally with internal teams to assist in execution of campaigns

  • Adhere to campaign process flow and manage to strict campaign deadlines

  • Problem solve workflow conflicts within the team

  • Manage invoices from Direct Mail vendors and creative agencies; processes invoices for the team and record estimates/final invoice amounts in budget document for finance review

  • Assist team in tracking performance of marketing campaigns and help to communicate key learnings

  • Coordinate closely with other key stakeholders within the Marketing team as well as other key functions for operational efficiency as well as to take advantage of synergies, when appropriate.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure proper communications and compliance standards are maintained.

  • Be able to learn and demonstrate a knowledge of major marketing channels and key KPI’s

Travel Requirements

  • Travel will be limited.  Occasional travel to conferences and possible other offices, but most likely travel will be a rare occurrence.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS in Marketing or business related field

Knowledge and skills

  • Solid project management and problem solving skills

  • Innovative focus with an eye on constant measured improvements

  • Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing

  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and decision making skills

  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines

  • Build and foster collaborative relationships

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Eagerness to learn and a drive to succeed

Technical Skills

  • Exceptionally proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel and Power Point

  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday preferred

  • Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and Google Analytics preferred

Job experience

  • Some foundational experience in marketing preferred, including college courses or internship

  • Travel/Hospitality experience a plus
