The Manager, Finance and Securitization manages the data, analytics, and reporting in support of WCF’s securitization program. Main responsibilities include evaluation of available collateral for securitization, forecasting what is eligible for funding, selecting loans, and working with the IT department to move contracts between designated pools. Additional responsibilities include monitoring changes in collateral performance, forecasting prepayment and default curves, ensuring compliance with securitization triggers and covenants, and preparing monthly reporting. This position works closely with the Accounting, Portfolio Management, and Servicing Operations departments to ensure documentation and reporting are within securitization program requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and forecast monthly prepayment and default curves for ~15 debt facilities.

  • Manage collateral funding for revolving Conduit facility and new securitization issuances.

  • Monitor and communicate changes in collateral performance.

  • Monitor deal triggers and ensures compliance with covenants.

  • Lead the development of Analyst(s) and completion of deliverables on schedule.

  • Drive efficiencies and streamline reporting to third parties.  

  • Create loan pool tape and statistical pool analysis for approximately three new securitization issuances per year.

  • Prepare presentation deck and supporting documentation for an annual Securitization Planning meeting with Senior Leadership. 

  • Collaborate with Collections, Contract Compliance, Title, IT, Legal, and Sales Operations to ensure compliance with securitization requirements in preparing for new deals, managing existing agreements, and evaluating new products or programs.

  • Must be highly detail-oriented, well organized, and comfortable in translating legal definitions into modeling mechanics.

  • Produce various ad-hoc analyses and research as requested for the WCF and Travel and Leisure Financial Management groups.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, MIS, or Mathematics from an accredited four-year institution. MBA and/or CFA Preferred.

Competencies

  • Systematic problem solver with strong critical thinking skills

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with senior management and peers.

  • Advanced technical skillset including:

    MS Applications

    Advance understanding and experience working with relational databases

    Query and Data Visualizations

    Financial modeling

  • Demonstrate success in managing multiple projects within strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of securitization mechanics

  • Experience in reviewing legal documentation

  • Experience in servicer reporting

  • Experience with loan portfolio analysis and reporting

Job experience

  • 7+ years financial reporting and analysis

  • Previous leadership experience
