The Digital Analytics Manager of Tagging and Testing will support our growing team of experts on the Digital Analytics & Testing team.  They will work with stakeholders to understand what data needs to be collected on our digital products needed to answer questions the business is trying to understand and translate them into well-analyzed findings, to drive the business forward.  The ideal candidate will use their love of data and knack for seeing solutions in sprawling complex data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis and finding opportunities for improvement through developing and executing a/b/n testing across multiple websites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Tagging: Design, develop and maintain datalayer for tagging structures to capture user interactions with company websites. Also will need to QA and monitor tag performance. Will need to write custom code for data layer development. That will be handed over to developers for implementation. Identify data in API’s to expose to Google analytics to enhance website reporting.

  • Business Performance: Monitor business performance and identify issues and opportunities, as well as recommend optimizations to the site experience using in-house data products, custom reporting, and web analytics tools.

  • End User Experience: Optimize end user experience across multiple lines of business to unlock insights and guide the business – Identify, test, and optimize new website product features to provide strategic direction that is driven by data evidence and analytical rigor.

  • Data Analysis: Incorporate multiple data sources and methodologies to find opportunities to drive marketing efficiency in our advertising and improve the customer experience to acquire valuable customers and promote repeat shopping behavior.

  • Testing: Design and execute a/b/n tests to optimize marketing investments, analyze results, and provide insightful recommendations to the business.

  • Problem Solving: Develop creative approaches to solving problems by partnering with versatile, multi-functional team members who come to the table with different perspective.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required.

Knowledge and skills

  • Ability and strong desire to think analytically, to be able to identify and solve problems through data analysis

  • Strong attention to information details, metrics validation, report formatting, and accuracy is mandatory

  • Successful organization skills and ability to execute effectively on assigned workload

  • Confident, clear, effective communication - both internal teams and client-side

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to function effectively under pressure (continually maintains a professional demeanor)

  • A team player who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-centric

Technical Skills

  • Able to analyze data through both Adobe and Google Analytics Products.

  • Able to create tagging solutions with use of Javascript and HTML

  • Use of A/B Testing software.

  • Familiarity with confluence, JIRA or other Project Management software.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience-using formulas, pivot tables etc.

Job experience

  • Six (6) years of analytics or digital analytics (Google/Adobe Analytics) experience required

  • Four (4) years of experience with tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch) experience required

  • Four (4) years of experience with A/B Testing & Personalization Testing experience,  with tools such as Adobe Target/Google Optimize,  Maxymiser, or Optimizely, required.

  • Three (3) years of eCommerce analytics experience, required.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
