The Manager, Creative Services is a part of the Global Brands department. This role reports to the Vice President of Creative & Content, and supports the leadership, culture, creative direction and distribution of Global Brand’s creative output. This role works closely with other departmental teams that fall under Global Brands (i.e. Brand Management, Brand Operations, Content & Editorial, and Creative Services). The Manager, Creative Services is on the forefront of working with partners across multiple lines of business and brands to identify turnkey creative solutions and distribution strategies to support creative needs of this multi-billion-dollar global vacation company.

The Manager, Creative Services will lead the Creative Services team to facilitate creative needs, produce imaginative, creative design, and ensure deliverables meet assigned deadlines. The Sr. Manager, Creative Services will supervise the development and maintenance of all corporate digital assets. This role requires an enthusiastic and collaborative personality who is highly organized, a creative thinker and a highly organized data management professional who has experience in effectively leading the day-to-day execution of creative production, global asset management, DAM (Data Asset Management) Administration, trainings on using the centralized DAM, integration of multi-brand and multi-channel brand assets into the centralized Global DAM. This role requires experience of latest trends and technologies as well as digital integration so as to effectively manage and deliver creative resources for the company’s brand websites, media and social media channels, email integrations and overall consumer and partner communication.

Previous experience in Creative Services Management and Data Asset Management Administration is a must.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Lead Design Production Team

  • Supply media to all Travel + Leisure Co. websites through Adobe AEM.
  • Deliver projects across a variety of format and media, including web, digital, and print.
  • Work closely with Brand Design and Content & Editorial to manage photo and video shoots, and deliver new and/or refreshed assets to DAM system.
  • Responsible for final review of design files before publishing to ensure they meet brand design and production standards.
  • Lead production team creating assets based on brand standards including, but not limited to:
  • Resort directories
  • Resort collateral such as check-in brochures, site maps, directional maps, floor plans & points charts.
  • Sales Materials
  • Maintain all elements of our brand identities including brand guidelines, logos, fonts, etc.
  • Facilitate organization and archiving of all Brand projects and supporting files to maintain an efficient workflow for all Brand team members.

Oversee Global Data Asset Management

  • Lead implementation and rollout of multi-million-dollar Capex project of Adobe Data Asset Management solution.
  • Maintain repository of enterprise’s creative assets comprising photo, video, content and design.
  • Ensure assets are categorized to meet global compliance and IP standards.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure storage requirements are maintained to support organization.

Communication, Planning and Management of Multi-Discipline Initiatives

  • Partner with creative team leads and operations in development of annual creative studio budgets and budget operational processes throughout the year.
  • Work closely with Brand Management and various partners to produce and deliver resort renovation, grand openings photo and video shoots.
  • Lead in developing and maintaining creative initiatives to improve processes.
  • Stay ahead of state-of-the-art trends for equipment for all studio disciplines and collaborate with IT for fulfillment.
  • Act as IT liaison for important creative initiatives, for example: Satellite network video studio & Isilon server.
  • Report insights concerning trends that impact creative design: industry, market, competitor, and customer.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Media or related field.

Knowledge and skills

  • Organizational skills that include ability to confidently and gracefully prioritize multiple projects under time constraints and manage a team of graphic designers, DAM Administrators
  • Adept project management abilities
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of post-production and delivery for all creative disciplines: web, digital, traditional print, large format output and finished video.
  • Understanding of branding practices and structure.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Passionate attitude with willingness and enthusiasm to own your own growth.

Technical Skills

  • Expert level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Adobe Experience Manager - Data Asset Management System and Adobe CMS
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the implementation of SEO, Metadata and Taxonomy

Job experience

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in leading in a creative environment, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
  • Prior experience within travel & hospitality a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing, all forms of advertising, and digital experiences
  • Understanding of related creative tracks: user experience, copywriting and content strategy
  • Proven role experience working with teams on large scale, long-term projects

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
