We are excited to be currently searching for an experienced, relationship-focused Human Resources Generalist to complement our highly talented people experience team based on the Gold Coast, QLD.
This is a full time opportunity that is ideal for a passionate and talented HR professional looking to gain exposure to an organisation with significant reach across the Asia Pacific region.
How You’ll Shine
As a Human Resources Generalist you’ll play a key role in actively consulting and supporting the business to optimise the performance of our people and achievement of results through commercially focused and pragmatic HR solutions.
No two days are ever the same, however key duties of the role include:
- Provide end to end recruitment and onboarding support to your client group
- Coordinate all employment-related paperwork and employment compliance checks and ensure it aligns with Company standards and procedures
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and provide sound award interpretation and advice to client groups.
- Maintain data integrity for HRIS., including Workday, Enboarder and other systems
- Oversee facilitation of all investigations with client groups regarding employee grievances, disciplinary investigation and terminations whilst maintaining procedural fairness.
- Collaborate with clients to provide appropriate resources, monitor progress and results (exit surveys and interviews) to optimize performance.
- Work collaboratively to support the Talent Acquisition & Development and Safety & Wellness functional areas of HR.
- Manage, in partnership with OccCorp, Workcover related incidents within your region, including wage reimbursements, return to work and coordination of suitable duties.
- Promote and encourage HR best practice across all areas of the business
- Support the broader HR team in developing and implementing projects.

What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a generalist Human Resources role
- A qualification in Human Resources or related field will be highly regarded
- A true enthusiasm and passion for the HR profession, and desire to make meaningful contribution to continuously enhance our employee experience focus.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Exceptional communication skills, including confidence to liaise and build relationships with stakeholders across the organization while maintaining confidentiality.
- Sound HR knowledge – ability to interpret Awards and understanding of current employment legislation.
- A strong administrative base, including ability to navigate and prepare reporting and navigate systems.
- Demonstrates high level of autonomy and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to prioritise heavy workloads, multi-task and demonstrate high levels of initiative.
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office programs
