The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working closely with various departments throughout the organization in order to directly support business & hospitality initiatives. They will be responsible for coordinating and driving consumer facing programs with both business partners, database partners and the Digital Marketing Manager. They will provide support in campaign plans to ensure proper, timely, effective implementation of cross channel campaigns to include email, SMS/Push messaging, and digital analytics. They will coordinate campaign plans with creative teams, engagement teams, web/mobile teams, campaign management teams and analysts. Finally, they will review and report out results to make adjustments as needed to campaigns and strategies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Occupancy Enhancement Initiatives
Support Digital Marketing Managers to develop and deploy content for promotional campaigns through email, mobile, online media and other digital solutions.
Build targeting strategies and audience segments to optimize campaign performance across channels.
Evolve digital solutions for HTML, usability testing, browsers/device compatibility, dynamic content, customization/personalization, and automated solutions for email and mobile campaigns.
Partner with Campaign Management Team to create data segments and campaign files for various promotions, provide performance metrics and report out campaign results from the Jira platform.
Partner with Analysts to use response analytics and data attributes in creating and optimizing strategic digital campaigns.
Partner with internal resources to deliver efficient, effective, branded and legally approved digital campaigns.
Marketing Development/Direct Response
Create/manage project requests in project management tools to meet partner needs, project requirements, and campaign schedules. Ensure campaigns are executed on-time and error free.
Coordinate campaign plans with project managers, and align with ongoing communications, digital team timelines and campaign management team timelines.
Coordinate production work project management team to facilitate digital updates on assets in support of campaign launches, program deployments and lead generation. Coordinate campaign deliverables, reporting, analytics and results metrics; determine cadence and required changes to optimize ongoing campaigns.
Coordinate, develop and produce select email and mobile programs.
Assist in the execution of CRM solutions supporting online initiatives; assist digital team members with audience segmentation, targeting, retargeting and acquisition to deliver relevant offers/promotions and maximize conversions.
Manage HTML processes and deliver final proofs for management, partners, and clients.
Align digital campaigns with engagement strategies, web/mobile deployments, call center campaigns, offline programs and other business initiatives.
Coordinate secure data capture, processing and integration with digital and CRM platforms.
Utilize Jira (project management platform) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud ESP platform for development work, list management, select data segmentation, deliverability and distribution of email, SMS and Push notifications.
Assist with submission of materials through contact strategy review, legal review/approval, contract review, brand/creative production, social/web/mobile deployments and IT development.
Assist with creation of written documentation of standard operating procedures, program objectives, process flows, content requirements and results.
Analyze and report results, findings and adjust as necessary to maximize key drivers.
Develop reporting with business analysts to monitor program performance, measure results and deliver tools for decision making.
Create and distribute reports with email, media, and web analytics for deliverability, opens/clicks, site traffic, page views, trends, conversions, bounce rates, etc.
Provide reports and feedback to partners/clients on campaigns; providing input, recommendations and effects to key drivers for each initiative.
Coordinate digital marketing program opportunities, campaigns and initiatives with Project Managers, Brand/Creative Teams, Content Management Teams, Sales &Marketing Teams, Corporate Programs, Sales Operations, Inventory Management, Field Sales & Marketing, Owner Services, Hospitality/Resort Operations, Brand Services, Human Resources, Call Center Operations and, other internal/external resources.
Attend training and meetings as needed.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality or related field required.
Knowledge and skills
Experience handling web based production to maintain content, consistent messaging, lead acquisition, customer engagement and online conversion.
Experience developing and deploying campaigns with multiple test cells, varied by message, offer, and distribution vehicle.
Experience creating and analyzing dashboards to measure program success (1+ years)
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with pay careful attention to detail and follow through on all tasks.
Excellent ability to work effectively with various internal and external constituencies (including senior management, regional sales and marketing management, legal, technical teams, peers, external alliance partners, outside vendors, etc.) to implement projects without direct reporting control.
Self-motivated and able to achieve goals with minimal supervision. Ability to take initiative, plan, manage and deliver projects on time is required.
Must maintain effectiveness when situations arise that affect work tasks or the work environment, adjusting effectively to multi-task and adapt to changes in processes or requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to groups
Knowledge of SEO/SEM/PPC, preferred
Knowledge of content management tactics, preferred
Knowledge and experience in timeshare/vacation ownership industry, preferred
Experience in tracking and reporting web, email, mobile and online media
Experience managing and developing digital content for online marketing campaigns and communications
Experience with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience in collecting and presenting digital analytics
Experience building HTML for email, a plus
Experience sending and managing email communications through third party email provider, a plus.
Experience in web production, mobile messaging, SEO/SEM, and data segmentation/targeting, a plus
Experience in lead generation and online media buys, a plus
Four years marketing and/or digital marketing experience required.
Experience working on campaigns that cross multiple channels including but not limited to direct marketing, online media placement, telemarketing, email, web, mobile, social and print/offline materials also required.
Web development experience, including search engine optimization and creative design and email marketing experience including content development, creative design, automation, targeting and segmentation.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
