The Sr. Digital Product Analyst participates in the strategic and tactical product lifecycle of high priority company initiatives and the development of new experiences that will not only transform the business, but shape our digital future. The Business Analyst helps define digital product stories used to develop, launch, and enhance products and services that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communication with stakeholders.  The Sr. Digital Product Analyst will manage a regular cadence of meetings with stakeholders, laying out requirements and concerns and managing expectations. The PA acts as a communications bridge between business stakeholders and technical resources.
  • Write requirements. The Sr. Digital Product Analyst will write detailed requirements for new features, enhancements and defects across multiple websites.  PA must have a mastery of Agile scrum product story writing techniques.
  • Analyze site performance.  A successful Sr. Digital Product Analyst understands complex site analytics and their impact on site performance.  They extract conclusions from metrics and analyze them to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Drive Cross Functional teams.  The Sr. Digital Product Analyst is ultimately responsible for the successful implementation of new site features and functions.  This person must work with multiple teams of varied skillsets to ensure each step of the work is executed on schedule.  Interpersonal and non-managerial leadership skills are paramount for this role.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS Marketing, Business, Computer Science or Engineering. Technical undergraduate education with business/product management professional experience will be considered. Preference to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge and skills                                                                                          

  • Microsoft Suite
  • Experience writing user stories
  • Experience leading cross functional team to aligned goals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to synthesize complex user data into actionable user experience goals
  • Critical thinking skills to recommend original and productive ideas
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, who may have competing interests
  • Strong time and project schedule management skills required to consistently meet deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of products, services, or initiatives
  • Well organized, strong administrative and detail-oriented skills

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Adobe Experience Management tools
  • Atlassian project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Content Management System (CMS)

Job Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in business analyst or Digital products within the hospitality, ecommerce, or technology industry
  • At least 1-2 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
