Wyndham Destinations is looking for a Director of Account Servicing Operations in the Consumer Finance Department. Responsibilities of the Director, Account Servicing Operations include the development of the strategic business plan and budget, compliance with all Securitization, lending, legal, and audit requirements, training, and department policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities include WVR, WBW, Shell, and Fixed Week loan and dues portfolio.  This position services over 1.2 million owners and a $3 billion loan portfolio.  Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance of contract law, privacy law and corporate policies.  Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities. Develops and monitors dashboards that report department performance for all functions. Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with all divisions, regions, and outside vendors to ensure compliance on lender contracts and corporate policy. This positions coaches and development of 4 managers with staff in two locations, Las Vegas Regional office, and Orlando Corporate office. Recommends career and development plans for all staff levels.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage the department’s strategic business plan and budget.  Identify and articulate any positive or negative trends in the department performance and establish an action plan to correct performance for the department.  Develop reporting that tracks various programs and service levels for VP, SVP’s and the Clubs.
  • Create and implement operational standards and best practices for all aspects of the operation:  workforce management, quality assurance, securitization requirements, and contract or legal standards. 
  • Interact, as needed, with leadership teams from other operational, sales, title services and legal areas to resolve cross functional servicing needs and issues.
  • Oversee all aspects related to Collateral loan document review and eligibility for funding of Wyndham Asset Affiliation Model, Direct Lending and Securitization.
  • Management of staff performance and output:  ensure compensation structure, encourage optimal performance in the areas of productivity and quality and create measurements for increased performance.  Improve and drive efficiencies of operational processes.
  • Coach, train, educate and develop staff and leaders in all areas as to the tools and expertise required/available to support corporate objectives. Direct, manage and participate in any projects for Account Servicing and WCF.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential in accordance with WVO PCI and PII guidelines
  • Update job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities
  • Perform other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be detailed, accurate and thorough
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes and a demanding work environment
  • Must possess good time management and organizational skills
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Deadline conscious with strong drive and initiative
  • Effective presenter and facilitator skills
  • A strong working knowledge of Six Sigma/Project Management

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate PC skills, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to create and maintain operational reporting for the department
  • Experience using Six Sigma methodology

Travel Requirement

  • 25% Travel

Job experience

  • 8 or more years in finance, mortgage banking, legal or vacation ownership experience

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
