The Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager leads a team of full life cycle recruiters for all general and administrative positions for Travel & Leisure Corporate office to attract top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner and is expected to champion innovation and change management. The TA Manager builds and fosters positive business relationships with Hiring Managers to understand the business operations and staffing needs while supporting our “HEART” philosophy.  The Manager serves as the subject matter expert with recruiting strategies for positions from Agent to VP and provides meaningful solutions with hard to fill positions.  Additionally, the Manager is responsible for building/maintaining solid relationships with local educational institutions, staffing vendors, and other organizations to ensure Travel & Leisure is sourcing a diverse pool of qualified candidates and is considered a key community leader.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consults with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, budgeting and compensation parameters.  Create and maintain a pro-active staffing strategy using our knowledge of the local markets to meet current and future staffing goals providing outstanding client service and delivery. Coach, train and support all people leaders responsible for hiring, with an emphasis on processes and best practices, including behavioral interviewing, selection and offer negotiation. Focuses on building relationships with hiring managers, create a strong level of trust, effectively understand their business, team dynamics and business goals.  Partner with companywide staffing peers, Compensation, Human Resources and L&D Partners to share best practices and maintain companywide objectives.  
  • Partner with Director of Talent Acquisition and the Inclusion and Diversity team to evaluate, create and execute on I&D recruiting and hiring strategies. Build a pipeline of diverse candidates through targeted networking.  Build one-on-one relationships with career professionals and represent organization at recruiting events such as job fairs, college campuses and various association meetings. Support and promote company’s diverse culture through outreach, marketing and networking events.
  • Proactively research, develop and manage candidate generation strategies and employment branding through innovative marketing, social media, community, and university involvement. Consistently look for & introduce ways to enhance the employment brand messaging & collateral.
  • Build, cultivate, and sustain an active candidate database within targeted job families.  Ensure job requisitions, applicant tracking processes and reporting are implemented and effectively utilized by all. Oversee the process of internal job postings, referrals and records within the Applicant Tracking System.  Research, analyze, prepare and present hiring statistics. 
  • Works closely with VPs, Directors and all hiring managers to understand their staffing needs as well as the anticipated evolution of their businesses. Consults and partners while serving the role of subject matter expert in developing/maintaining methods to attract qualified talent to the business units.
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of talent through posting, direct sourcing and networking initiatives. Sources, screens, and selects candidates for hiring manager review while documenting and maintaining candidate progress through Workday applicant tracking system.  Identifies new creative and innovative sourcing techniques to generate additional applicant flow for hard to fill positions.   Responsible for managing all associate transfer requests, screening for eligibility and communicating deficiencies when applicable.
  • Properly maintains and stores recruiting documents per company’s record retention requirements.  Ensures staffing procedures are appropriately carried out by Hiring Managers in accordance with company policy and employment law.  Trains new leaders on recruiting processes and provides them necessary interview tools. 
  • Participates/Leads Travel & Leisure projects or initiatives focused on improvement of recruiting programs or minimizing redundancies at both site and companywide levels.  Partners with community peers and companywide Recruiters and Human Resource professionals to share best practices focused on maintaining company objectives and improve efficiencies.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting out on monthly metrics for analysis in order to identify trends, concerns, and successes. Participates in monthly senior level dashboards meetings to communicate results, trends and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Effectively manages relationships with outside vendors including various staffing agencies, MSP, assessment companies, etc. to ensure they are providing quality services. Effectively manages relationships with local schools including on site student visits as well as off site classroom presentations, career fairs, student interviews, and community service to both identify talent and increase brand presence. Secures and manages additional staffing resources during high volume periods such as Contract Recruiter, RPO, or seeking temporary assistance internally within the organization.
  • Generates offer letters and oversees relocation, compensation recommendations and candidate on-boarding. Works with Hiring Managers to maintain competency-based interview guides focused on behavioral based interviewing questions.
  • Performs other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred

Knowledge and skills

  • Able to manage multiple recruitment plans, assignments, and implement strategy in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong proactive recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, negotiating and networking skills.
  • Ability to be objective by evaluating situations
  • Able to work with others and communicate effectively to all levels including executive
  • Must be professional and possess a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong customer service and collaborative skills are essential
  • Ability to adapt and understand the business functions and it’s needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written techniques
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently or in groups

Technical Skills

  • Proficient utilizing MS Office (World, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)

Job experience

  • 5 years’ experience supporting general & administration roles in a corporate environment preferred
  • High volume recruiting or contact center preferred
  • Proven ability to own the recruiting enterprise and source/manage recruitment for all levels of positions from Executive to Agent level   
  • Experience working with a variety of applicant levels and personalities\
  • Recent experience overseeing the recruitment of technical talent in some of these of the following areas would be preferred: Application Development (Front-End, Back-End, Full Stack); Enterprise Architecture; Platform Engineering (Cloud Engineering/Migration); Cybersecurity/Information Security (IAM, Incident Response, Penetration Testing), Advanced Analytics (Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science); Application Administration/Support (CRM - Salesforce, ERP – Oracle, Workday)
  • Experience with creating, supporting and executing on Inclusion and Diversity initiatives, processes and strategies to support companywide I&D initiatives
