HOW YOU’LL SHINE

As a Resort Maintenance & Grounds Officer, you’ll help keep our resort operating at its best — from the guest rooms to the gardens. Your work will ensure that everything looks great, works well, and makes our guests feel welcome and safe.

You will:

• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, equipment, and facilities

• Assist with planned preventative maintenance programs to keep the property in top shape

• Look after the resort’s beautiful gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces so they stay healthy and inviting year-round

• Support seasonal landscaping and care for trees, shrubs, and garden beds

• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally

• Monitor and report on equipment, supplies, and potential hazards

• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and other departments to keep everything running smoothly

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, landscaping, or grounds keeping (resort or hotel experience a bonus)

• Basic knowledge of trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment care

• A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills — you enjoy finding solutions and keeping things in good order

• Awareness of workplace health & safety requirements, and willingness to follow safe work practices

• Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented approach

• Physical fitness and comfort working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons

• Flexibility to work a roster that may include weekends and public holidays
