As a Business Operations Manager for Wyndham Destinations, this person will be responsible for supporting our North American Sales and Marketing Operations teams while also: Creating and executing risk assessments and controls to minimize loss, collaborate with corporate and field business partners to enact change, volve business process through automation, create and execute training for new business enhancements that will impact Field Operations , while acting as an advocate for field Sales, Marketing and Operations teams.

Acting as a consultant to business partners, this person is responsible for cultivating new relationships to move the business forward. As a manager, this individual is responsible for the development and progression of Wyndham Destinations associates on and off their team. As part of the Business Operations family, this individual helps support the steps to put the world on vacation and make memories of a lifetime!

You will be responsible to:

  • Deliver customer service that goes above and beyond expectations when interacting with business partners and our guests
  • Deliver and improve new and existing customer service solutions and resources to our Sales & Marketing locations
  • Build and nurture relationships across many departments and act as a consultant to identify opportunities or evolve existing processes
  • Design corporate communications and trainings for field partners (including product knowledge, system training, etc.)
  • Lead new projects or initiatives from creation to deployment including on-going tracking
  • Prioritize actions needed to support Sales and Marketing leadership, functioning in a fast-paced environment
  • Review data and design solutions to improve performance through training, tracking, and system enhancements
  • Evolve your team through personalized development plans and teambuilding to drive high engagement
  • Recognize and understand roadblocks and develop alternative solutions as necessary
  • Guide your team members to build their personal brands and demonstrate how they can successfully leverage their resources

You will partner with:

  • On site teams – Sales, Marketing and Operations
  • Corporate Business partners – Consumer Finance, IT, Customer Relationship Management, Product Development
  • External Vendors, as needed

Examples of projects you will work on:

  • Designing technology requirements for system enhancements (design, test, train, deploy, track adoption)
  • Intake and assessment of new tools or processes to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Maintain resource library of information, providing necessary tools that support Marketing and Sales

Requirements, Skills and Traits for Success:

  • 3+ years business experience or related field
  • Experience of leading a team responsible for results in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to coordinate multiple large, complex projects and daily support with little direction
  • Experience in working in diverse environments and building a diverse team
  • Ability for analyzing data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
  • A leader who is development focused and will support all team members in moving forward on or off their team
  • A risk-taker who embraces change to evolve operations
  • You must be personally accountable for all outcomes – good and bad - with a keen ability to recognize your mistakes and share them openly
  • Ability to travel to great cities within the US, Caribbean and Mexico for approximately 4 weeklong trips a year to assist in product/system launches, audits, business meetings & etc.
