The Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Sports Illustrated Resorts (SIR) serves as the senior-most leader responsible for driving sales and marketing strategy and execution across the brand. This role holds full P&L accountability and is tasked with delivering sustainable growth in new memberships, revenue, and margin through effective leadership and enterprise-wide collaboration. This position reports to the Chief Sales Officer.
How You’ll Shine
This leader oversees all Sales and Marketing departments within SIR, setting the strategic direction while ensuring operational excellence in areas including tour generation, guest reception, gifting, and the sales presentation process. The role requires a high level of influence and cross-functional collaboration across a complex, matrixed organization to drive performance and alignment.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring compliance and integrity across all aspects of the sales process. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of building and scaling effective sales and marketing organizations that consistently achieve growth targets.
Additionally, this position plays a critical role in shaping and growing the Sports Illustrated Resorts brand. It requires close partnership with the Hospitality and Vacation Ownership leadership team to support brand launch initiatives and ensure long-term business success. The role also emphasizes maintaining strong, transparent communication with partners and vendors to deliver an exceptional experience aligned with company values.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree
Active real estate license (if required by state regulations)
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Sales and Marketing, and people leadership ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Experience in the vacation ownership or time-share industry is highly desirable
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives
Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and driving revenue growth through innovative and cost-effective strategies
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills with the ability to hold teams accountable for results
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels and across cross-functional teams
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently
Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and adaptability to shifting business needs and market dynamics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify gaps, recommend solutions, and optimize processes
Committed to ethical leadership, integrity, and a culture of service excellence
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools is a plus
