The Associate Service Cloud Administrator is primarily responsible for the post-deployment operational support, administration and performance tracking for RCI’s instance of Service Cloud. The Associate Service Cloud administrator will work alongside their fellow Associate Service Cloud Admins as well as the Salesforce Service Cloud administrators to understand and proactively monitor all aspects of the Service Cloud configuration once functionality has been deployed. Where applicable and necessary, she/he will collaborate with internal/external Salesforce architects/ integrators/crowdsource solutions and/or other internal data/technical associates when the complexity of identified solutions warrants it.

The successful candidate will work with key stakeholders (Member Services Operations team members, Service Cloud Success team members, and other stakeholders) to support Member Services in the post-deployment phase of Service Cloud functionality. She/he may execute configuration changes derived from specific RCI initiatives or resulting from Salesforce platform releases/upgrades only as requested by Salesforce Admin team.

The successful candidate will partner with business and technical partners to iterate previously released functionality to leverage Salesforce Service Cloud to enhance external and internal customer experiences and drive business benefits.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitoring and support of Service Cloud in support of strategic/tactical business
  • Daily administration and support of Cases and other objects in the Service Cloud database, including but not limited to managing a multiple user setup, profiles and roles, as well as possible modifications to fields, record types, page layouts and validations.
  • Create and document application requirements processes, policies, application configuration by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including outside consultants as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new SalesForce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements. Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements.
  • Network with external value add providers, other corporate salesforce user groups to build internal knowledge of best practices
  • Develop reports, dashboards and processes to monitor adoption, quality and efficiency of user experience, data quality and integrity.
  • Assist with the development of training programs for new associates
  • Contribute to driving user adoption through improved user experience designs
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Salesforce innovation and best practices

Travel Requirements

  • Limited travel to training events, project kick offs, as required.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications


  • Ideal candidate will hold a post-secondary degree, relevant work experience or be currently pursuing a degree in business / technology systems

Training requirements

  • Preference will be given to those certified as a Salesforce Administrator (ADM201)

Knowledge and skills

  • Previous salesforce awareness considered an asset
  • Experience with customer reporting, modifying pages, views and dashboards preferred
  • Creative thinking style combined with a strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to work/meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Creative thinker / problem solver
  • Strong ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Superb planning skills

Job experience

  • 3 years of Salesforce experience
