PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

As the Strategic Business Partnership Manager, this role will develop and implement strategic partner business plans that drive profitability and sustainable growth for Club Wyndham Asia. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with experience in building and managing financially strong and mutually beneficial business relationships with a good understanding of developing and managing pipelines and a strong aptitude in partnership management, business development and account management. This role will focus on leveraging current relationships and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities to build sustainable and meaningful partnerships that create shared value. This role will also be responsible for delivering leads to call centres as well as exploring new lead sources.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to :)

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively grow new business opportunities, ensuring profitable business partnerships are established, measured and maintained.
  • Build and enhance customer relationships through joint business plans, understanding customer business drivers, foreseeing future needs and providing win/win solutions.
  • Maintain and grow an active pipeline of corporate prospects.
  • Develop tailor-made and innovative corporate strategies and tactics for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of corporate partners.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential corporates both alone and, if appropriate, by strategically involving a Wyndham Destinations member of senior management
  • Present and educate potential and existing partners about the company’s products
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Work closely with the marketing team and coordinate with partners to deliver marketing campaigns and promotions to end customers
  • Attend industry functions as necessary, and provide feedback and information on market trends

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:

  • A minimum of 3 years related experience with proven expertise in account management and corporate partnerships management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including persuasive abilities, effective listening, diplomacy and tact, team-playing with demonstrated success in dealing with corporates.
  • Mature, charismatic personality possessing the style, stature, leadership and diplomacy required to work effectively with senior staff and volunteers.
  • Ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Experience in building compelling customer proposals, business reviews and plans
  • Ability to travel inter/ intra state
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
